Bumping this now in the hope it’ll force us to play some football for the last 15 minutes.

The brand of football we now have is as bad as I can ever remember it.

Fleetwood have won 1 in 12 and they battered us today.

We are getting worse with bowyer. How anyone can defend this is beyond me.

    He has to go now.

When a team are clearly not playing for their manager who goes?

    The players or the manager?

The manager in this case . It’s just not working

I must admit, I have defended him
to the hill until of late. Today, the pendulum has swung! That performance was absolutely diabolical and the tactics employed were even worse!
  • I have to wonder. What is people's threshold? I mean I was lost about 4/5 games ago and I'm pretty patient, and it gets worse every week. How bad does it have to be to finally bite the bullet or are we just going to accept abject performance after abject performance every week. What's the pont where those wanting him to stay say enough is enough.

I mean this is turgid. Every week we look poor. Good players look poor. No cohesion. No quality. We look utterly bereft of quality and confidence.

    I'm so over Bowyer's Charlton.
  • Yep, time to bow
  • I wish it would, but this is clearly not working. We get worse every week. I don't see any improvements. Outplayed by Fleetwood, who were tactically far superior. Although we are lucky to get away with a draw, this is a new low for me.

Not another week of this shit. He ain’t going.
  • Anyone who still thinks Bowyer is the man to take the club forward is doing so out of blind loyalty and stubbornness.

    Enough is enough

What was the short goal kick bollocks? Obviously told to do that by coaches
  • The whole team are absolutely clueless & have been for so long, & that does include Bowyer...no chance a winning run is gonna be happening this season...
  • Can be claimed that football is all about results, or about entertainment. We are neither. But until playoffs are impossible there won't be any change.

I’ve stayed quiet on the topic for a few weeks but that’ll do me. Awful second half and yet another disgraceful result.
  • Absolutely disgraceful performance. No nothing. Disjointed. Bloody time wasting against Fleetwood.  What good is a draw? Every time we had a break we held onto the ball. We actually look more in danger when we have possession rather than the opposition. The team has no heart, no shape, no inspiration. Miller played on the wrong side. Purrington dropped again. 4 subs but still the same bloody clueless shape and tactics. We have to change the manager now. What the hell was that playing the ball at the back and then hoofing it to them?  It’s bloody horrendous!

I’ve been on his side before today but this is some of the worst football I have ever seen from what , on paper , should be a very good side .

    Time for change .

Is Bowyer having a positive influence on this team either tactically or giving everything as he says?. If you answer honestly I think we all know what needs to happen. Boring,no invention, no passion, no tactics, no more patience!!!😤😤😤

The persistence to play out from
the back in a gale force wind tells me he has no Plan B. Again, today I hold my hands up and say enough is enough!

Bowyer sounds demoralised on the post match with Scotty. I think hes lost his spark tbh and it shows in our performances. We are actually consistently bad now which is a worry and I think the time has come for Sandgaard to start weighing up the options tbh. Fed up with it now.

    I'm not watching the game.

Only relying on statistics, public responses and league positions for my evaluation, which probably reduces it's relevance.

If players are no longer wearing the badge and working at the required maximum effort level. If he's constantly chopping and changing.

I hate to say it as I really like and respect the bloke but I think the pressure is now well and truly on.

I do still believe in giving him 10 games into next season and evaluating from that point, but football is football and it is a crooked business.

It's a shame to say I don't think he's going to be here much longer.

It's just the way football is. It's an impatient digital age of money money money. Win win win. Maximum expectations.

It's no longer for the people.

11 of our players on that pitch. They have the freedom to just withdraw all forms of direct responsibility...as soon as the manager is under pressure!

Even if Mike basset replaced bowyer...the initial freshness will more likely then not, usually always produce results but for a short period of time.

Everyone's gotta get sacked these days. The players run the show.

  • Sounds like a man who knows he can't turn it around

His plan B would have been Aneke

I'm sorry but TS would have to be mad to persevere with him. Managers are paid by results and ours are shocking.

I always thinks a team represents their managers mindset.

I remember Arsenal players sulking and moaning about every decision just like Wenger. Liverpool lively and energised (prior to this season)like Klopp

I've just watched the Bowyer interview he looks listless and uninspiring and has done for months pre and post match..
His side are a reflection of him.

    Maybe time for a change.
