  • I remember the 5-1 there  - stood up behind the goal. Last visit wasn't good with Grant missing a pen (seem to get a few there) - best think about the day was baiting their Bob the Builder mascot.

If there ever was a game with goals written all over it then it must be this one. I really hope LB doesnt set up ultra defensive as we all know that wont work and we will lose. If we maintain our attacking threat it could be a 4-3 or 3-2 to either team
    0-0 it is then......
  • Last 2 visits have both seen some terrible penalties by us. No idea how this one goes this evening!
  • Tonight's  referee obviously likes to be the centre of attraction. 40 yellows and 7 reds in 18 games. With that record, expect more of the same which could ruin the game tactics for both sides.
We normally do a lot better against the top sides so, expecting a bonus point or three tonight. 2-1 to the Reds.
  • Can't believe that stat for the referee. Should be fun.

El Hadji Ba celebrating Kashi's goal. Now there's a player i had forgotten existed.
  • Anyone know if this is on the radio anywhere?

It could give Williams some protection for a change. I am hoping that he doesn’t decide that players falling over after bouncing off Chucks is a foul, and give him a few more when he is fouled.
I won’t hold my breath. Sounds like he loses control which normally means inconsistent decisions.
  • Does anyone know when the live stream with Minto and Curbs starts pre match?

We have 55 yellows and 5 reds in 22 games so the ref isn’t a million miles off our average!

Jacko 2 (1 pen) and Lee Martin got two and absolutely ran his socks off, a real m o m performance .. I thought that he would be a major player for us for a good few seasons .. alas it never happened

  • Like a lot of lifers, i expect a very physical hard and close game, but can still
see us getting  0-1 or 1-2 win, let's just hope this bloody ref doesn't go true
    to form and ruin it.
Wonder how many purchasers of the stream will be there at the end? ;)
  • They have Clarke-Harris and a deadly strike force, we have a ropey defence and a card happy ref.

    Can't wait for 7.30pm

That'll be the second half ;)
  • Will be pleased with a point. Peterborough are a very good side at this level, especially at home, especially this season.

    Recent home results:
    Peterborough 3-0 MK Dons
    Peterborough 5-1 Portsmouth (cup)
    Peterborough 4-1 Rochdale
    Peterborough 1-0 Plymouth
    Peterborough 1-2 Blackpool
    Peterborough 5-1 Shrewsbury

Lets hope we’re more Plymouth/Blackpool rather than MKD/Rochdale.

  • pisses my evening up a bit as i have to cook for two other people and i usually have it ready for 7 which for a 7pm ko is fine. even better if they went back to 7.45 cos by then i've done the dishes and got myself a beer.
I have to cook for four.

Dinner time put forward to 6pm.

I have been wondering about people managing if they have to get back from work. Nobody in Peterborough has to worry about that, of course.
  • It’s an interesting discussion regarding Pearce or Gunter at CB. I understand people’s keenness to keep the back 4 the same, but I suspect Chris Gunter would be bullied by Clarke-Harris in a way Jason Pearce won’t be.

Clarke-Harris is a horrible striker to play against, not too dissimilar to Lyle Taylor. He’ll constantly peel on to Gunter and use his physicality to beat him every time. Gunter may be a bit quicker than Pearce, but this game will be a physical battle and we need Jason to add a bit of fight.

I hope we start like this and keep it tight for the first 60:

I imagine we’ll finish the game with this sort of side:

It’s possibly our toughest test of the season and every player needs to turn up if we’re going to get a win.

    Charlton 2-2 Posh

Got a sneaky feeling JFC will pick up a knock.
    Almost called it correctly!
