A strange feeling of deja vu with this one. We hit the woodwork several times before taking the lead from another Stockley header, let Burton back into it due to poor defending in several areas, have a goal disallowed for offside and then lose to a deflected shot.
Your thoughts? (preferably without too much bickering)

Anyone who still wants him in charge simply doesn't have Charlton's best interests at heart. Loyalties in the wrong place
Watching that was dire. One of our worst league results ever, surely? They’ve got one QUARTER of their total points tally against us as it stands.
Ultimately… I think that’s it for Bows, sadly. The body language was awful; Olly’s tweets were morose; the players appear to be rudderless.
That’s it for this season and I look forward to a renewed push with different coaching personnel in 2021/22.
Bullet points (most made during the game):
- There is NO movement ahead of the ball when we are in possession and in particular when our wingers are in possession
- Defensively we look to soak up pressure and counter against everyone in the league. Burton are bottom and we are trying to do this, to no avail.
- There is no willingness to adapt tactically after oppositions identify what we are doing
- Ben Watson underhits every pass ever
- There is too much space between Stockley and the wingers. This is exacerbated by only playing what appears to be one central midfielder
- We appear to pick eleven players seemingly at random from week to week
- There is no cogent philosophy to our play - not even one as simple as "get it down the wings, down the line and cross in from the byline"
- We started today with two wingbacks and two wingers? What the hell is that?
- The subs were thrown in seemingly at random, and Schwartz looked lost. Well, not even - he did nothing. And I suspect that is because we have made several panicked, disjointed signings, and that’s reflected in the way we play and squad imbalance.
But that’s it for me, he’s gotta go, it’s pathetic.
I must have more chance of Amanda Holden sitting on me face than Bowyer has of keeping his job.
It's worth remembering this is a team that has far more quality than we're seeing tonight. We are drastically less than the sum of our parts. And to me that's down to the manager.
You saw in the first 20 what we're capable of. You saw how it ended. This feels like the last days of Robinson. Start well, but even scoring one goal isn't enough. I think tonight will seal Bowyer's fate. Not sure he'll go tonight, but it feels like he isn't the man to take us forward.
football has been wank for months now.
I refuse to watch the games now, until bowyer has gone.
I do think his players have stitched him up though, which is grim.
I'm convinced if we played a flat 4-4-2 from the start that would have been a completely different result. No disrespect, but you can see that Burton are a side who lack any quality - but we, once again, looked utterly clueless and like we didn't have any sort of game plan.
Lee deserves the sack - he can't do the job.
Now?
"The front door key's under the mat, there's plenty of tea and coffee in the cupboard, and a fridge full of beer - help yourself."
weve done enough to stay up - you would hope
