The obvious thing to do is to get the RAW world title, which ever one that is I have lost track, off Reigns before Mania.
Then you have Reigns v Sammy on one night and the other world title match on the other night.
The problem is then who do you put it on? Cody at MSG would make sense but he has no natural opponent then for mania.
Could put it on Edge, have him bring back the big gold belt, then him and Cody could feud over the belt Edge never lost before he retired, and that Cody's father held.
Sprinkle in some of Cody's overly cheesey promos and some of Edges "acting" and soliloquies along the way and... oh shit what a fucking garbage idea this after all.
Roman Reigns’ streak cannot end outside of Wrestlemania. That would be a massive anti climax, and would actually then devalue the Mania match(es) a bit.
Cody’s presence is the problem here, but they can’t just take out the Rumble winner.
Triple threat match at Mania. That’s the only way I can see it working that doesn’t feel massively convoluted and confusing.
Its been done before various times, and this way they can still tell the story whereby Zayn has to do absolutely everything to force his way into the match without having to have anyone lose on the way to get there.
Sami loses at EC by shenanigans from Jey, or from the rest of The Bloodline.
He has to go through all of them every week to earn a rematch against Roman Reigns at WM, and they either run it through one night and Cody the other night and Roman pulls double duty, or they have him inserted into the Cody match.
The former could be a good way to split the belts up, have Reigns retain against Sami but get beaten up pretty bad/Sami takes out The Bloodline in the process, and Cosy wins one of the belts on the second night. Gives Zayn a highlight, keeps Reigns looking strong and gives Cody a moment in the spotlight with a win his dad could never achieve
Elimination chamber being for the IC title is odd, could have had Sami win that in Montreal for a shot at the other title. Pretty sure they usually do that for the belts the rumble winners don't go after.
Sami losing to Reigns at Montreal (I bet he would do the honours and not cry about it...) would be such an anti climax, but there is enough time for him to get a rematch after going through the bloodline, it could work. Sami beating him at 'mania, then lose it a few months later maybe to Owens is the only thing that makes sense to me. Reigns having to defend both belts on differnet nights, likewise the Usos which is also pretty interesting.
I think Cody not winning but being close to it helps build up the angle for when he does win it, although the fans may turn on him by then! Reigns losing both belts, assuming he does double duty, doesn't work for me brother.
It feels strange to actually be interested in this! We haven't even discussed the WWE sale.
It's only rumoured so far. Bobby would also be inducted posthumous.
Obviously, but it's the fact it would be Dennis and Stan. It's like doing Demolition and having Darsow and the moon dog. You can't have them without Ax, you can't have the midnight without Bobby.
I know they can't help it but it would almost be better if it was Dennis OR Stan with Jim. Like when Animal and Paul Ellering were the road warriors induction.
Very decent segment with Cody and Heyman last night.
Just caught up with this; loved it - real vintage storytelling - i particularly liked the Heyman psychology of offering a hand shake at the start, then as it unfolds refusing the same hand shake at the end. That's how you do a promo.
Can’t see they’d put the belt on Sami going into Mania but they can easily have The Bloodline interfere costing Zayn but giving them reason to make the Mania main event a triple threat
The whole Bloodline story has been brilliantly told, especially now with the Jey Uso element

Supposed hall of fame. All very decent and Batista.
It's just weird that it will be Dennis and Stan as they never were the Midnight.
I wonder if Paul E will induct them?

Cornette says the midnight are not going in the HoF and that he wouldn't sign the legends contract anyway.
I'll stop posting these now but if your of a certain age....
