  • I think we will see a comfortable victory. A manager under pressure often impacts on players and despite what some might say, we have very good players for the level who will feel a weight has been lifted.
  • One last nibble. You'd pick Ben Purrington over this?

  • You wait until I take Matt Smith and DJ under my wings as well
  • Benjy proving himself human after all leaving '...and Ian Maatsen' out of that tweet. But it is good to note that Pearce has been much improved of late
  • 4-0 Charlton. Champagne football as Ronnie hits a first half hat trick.

  • Is it too late to change my prediction ?
  • Typical Charlton, we don’t do new caretaker manager bounce.
    0-3
  • The team sheet will be interesting tomorrow! Oh the meltdown if JJ starts with Pratley and Watson 🤭🤭🤭
  • The performance might well be very telling.

  • I actually think in the light of today's events we will win this quite comfortably - maybe 3-0.

I think you'll see some decent football as well.

And effort. Players will know that a new manager may well be watching and will want to impress.

I'm excited to see what JJ does, but to be honest I can't see it being to much different to what we have seen as Bowyer has tried every combination of formations and players this year already ha ha.
  • 15-0 home win.

    H/T ?
  • Chuks gonna have a new lease of life, smash through 6 defenders, ping it in off the bar, whip off his shirt, jump into the empty covered end and sign a new contract in celebration.
  • Lee Swarby officiated at the rearranged game with Pompey, not Madley
  • Caught in 2 minds on this one. Part of me sees JJ sticking broadly to Bows team & set up as it's too soon to be making wholesale changes......but then again JJ will want to stamp his mark early doors if he really wants the job full time.

Whatever the team I think the players will go out without fear & a lot more freedom. Maybe a few goals in this one.

    4-2.

  • Not fair on Pep to get the blame for this loss when it was JJ that set up the team and he’s only just arrived in post.

    0 - 1
  • If Jackson wants the job he's going to have to make changes to distinguish himself from Bowyer.

Part of me hopes that Bowyer was the problem and we turn up a completely different side. Part of me thinks that the problem is a lot more deep-rooted and Jackson will find the exact same problems that Lee did.
  • If nothing else, at least we'll hear a different voice in the post match interview. Bowyer's interviews straight after the match at The Valley have been painful viewing
  • We will absolutely win tomorrow such changes always trigger something.

    2-0 Aneke x2

I think they’re getting their jabs tomorrow so not available.

It would be just about the only task left that he hasn’t performed over the last 30+ years!

Is this ITK or conjecture as Bow has gone?

    ITK
  • I wonder if we'll see day 1 Gilbey again?
