Anyone else think it's weird none of the players have commented on social media today ?
Lack of well wishing is odd.
Millar liked Bowyer's statement and Maddison liked the club announcement Bowyer was gone.
Perhaps the rumours about the dressing room had some foundation ? Alot will be evident tomorrow when we see how the players react on the pitch
Weirdly Charlie Clifford from the Women's team also liked the Instagram message announcing Bowyer had resigned. Others from the club probably have too but I don't follow everyone on Socials
Aneke liked Sandgaard's post thanking Bowyer.
Looking at likes is all conjecture, but the lack of comments does seem odd.

Maybe it would also have something to do with the fact Bowyer isn’t on Twitter, so players replying to official Charlton account wouldn’t make much sense.
But I’m not on Twitter, so not sure how often current players reply to football clubs tweets.

They don't normally reply, but they do put out posts normally, either leaving, joining or saying goodbyes to players and managers.
If Jackson wants the job he's going to have to make changes to distinguish himself from Bowyer.
Part of me hopes that Bowyer was the problem and we turn up a completely different side. Part of me thinks that the problem is a lot more deep-rooted and Jackson will find the exact same problems that Lee did.
He’s in exactly the same boat as Bowyer when he was caretaker. Near to the play offs and around the same number of games left. Except he has one major disadvantage - no supporters in the ground.
Most excited I’ve been for a game this whole season. Generally, not sure what to expect but hope we can continue with our good form and get the win tonight. Would be nice for us to play on the front foot and dominate a team who are fighting to stay up.
It’s been said that plenty of players weren’t playing with confidence so it will be interesting to see whether any of them raise their games today.
Have a good feeling about this. The shackles are off & I think JJ will create a fun atmosphere around the place. The boys will show what they can do tonight.
After Saturday i was going to give this one a miss and only bother for the remaining games if we looked like making a play off challenge. Curious to see the reaction of the players now though so will buy the stream.
Really don't get the optimism on here. Also it won't matter if JJ gets the best out of what he's got and we win 6-0 he won't get the job. Would think TS already has his man and will announce Bow's successor by end of week. Anyone who thinks this has all blown up over the last 48 hours need to give their head a wobble.
almost couldn't care less about tonight's game now. In limbo until the end of the season playing wise. the important stuff will be happening behind the scenes. new manager, does Gallen stay? where are we with building plans playing wise for next year? (Varney has confirmed squad for Powell's championship season was put together by April). Almost think any sudden bounce could act as a distraction about building for next year.

The silence speaks volumes.
Maybe they are not thick? Bows, JJ and Base were a team. If they were to slag off Bowyer, by implication they are also criticising the man who is in charge tonight, and for all they know, the manager for the next four years.
