Changed my mind, Stockley to replace Aneke when he tires.
Gilbey has been pretty disappointing so far, so not sure why you’d pick him over Smith, who’s young and energetic, and improving with each appearance?
Gilbey looked good before his injury, was MK player of the year last year and almost more importantly will still be here next season. Think we need to focus on usuing players who are likely to still be around now that our shot at promotion looks pretty non-existent.
tbh I think we’re all expecting a massive clear out in the summer, and I’d hope that we might make bids on any loanees who catch the eye before the end of the season.
Gilbey has shows flashes, and yes, was unlucky to pick up the injury. It’s very hard to judge any of our midfielders, as apart from Pratley (and Millar?) they’ve all been in and out of the team so much they’ll struggle to find top form. Smith and DJ were key players for Swindon, but DJ in particular must be feeling rusty by now.
Schwartz is another player who is far off being match sharp, and they all might benefit from run outs with the U23s rather than getting 10 minutes here and there as subs?

I think it unlikely that JJ would gamble on his first, and maybe only, opportunity to impress with playing someone just back from injury. I agree that any new manager needs to do a CP and find out who he can rely on and ditch the rest and the only way he can do that is by playing our players when available.
Expecting a big reaction from the lads today, especially as NOONE has been vocal in supporting bows on social media. Prove to us what you can do lads.
Ah, so you mean something like:
Woke up this morning feeling fine I've got Charlton on my mind Jacko's got us playing the way we should, oh yeah. Something tells me I'm into something good .
Me neither, Hoping for a similar result to when we last had a caretaker manager against Bristol Rovers - away (Kevin Nugent) - and we won 5-1. KR in the stands at the match
almost couldn't care less about tonight's game now. In limbo until the end of the season playing wise. the important stuff will be happening behind the scenes. new manager, does Gallen stay? where are we with building plans playing wise for next year? (Varney has confirmed squad for Powell's championship season was put together by April). Almost think any sudden bounce could act as a distraction about building for next year.
this sort of comment does my head in!! yes a few teams have games in hand but there's no certainty that they'll win them. look at Accrington, they had 4 games in hand on us but now only have 2 and still sit 2 pts behind us. a lot of these clubs will lose key players to injury and with small squads that can be catastrophic. New manager bounce, put a run together and hey presto, play offs here we come!! On the other hand we could all just give up now and not bother with the last 11 games??
Misunderstood my comment but not going to explain further.

Redman would of gone home at half time if he was a liverpool fan at the champs league final in 2004 when they were 3-0 down. We still have a chance of play offs.
You know absolutely nothing about me so don't make stupid and insulting comments please.
