Our first two goals were very JJ-esque. Finesse from edge of the box and a beautiful free-kick. Very happy for JJ, if anyone deserved that sort of result and performance (from 0-2) - it's him!
I know one swallow does not make a summer, but what a difference. I'd love to see Jackson here as manager at Charlton, but I expect TS has his own ideas What a legend JJ is for us.
I do hope that Jackson is able to stay in an assistant capacity at the very least... Unfortunately there are only a few players a lot of us can relate to in this current squad - Jacko keeps that link going for me
Negatives. Poor penno to give away Shit from Amos for second goal. 2 goals conceded at home. Again. Decision making still not great a lot of the time. Millar going backwards recently.
Positives: Comeback from 1-0 down. Comeback from 2-0 down Good Shinnie goal Good JFC goal Good Washington goal. Albie - improved as game went on Washington - excellent again JFC - decent Shinnie - decent Maatsen - decent after iffy start. DJ - good cameo which was really needed Whole team - worked hard and did their bit.

Also, goes to show just how good Aneke is once again. Barely spoke about here and assisted the first (pretty much), and all but sealed the deal with sheer bravery at the end. Mans a tank.
Give it to Jacko and Curbs until the end of the season and take your time on the right person and right set up would be my advice. Not that I would expect anyone to take it.
Great win in the end. Showed great character. Johnnie Jackson is such a classy bloke. Still can’t help thinking it’s just not the right time for him but class class class.
After going two down we looked a solid side and controlled the game for the last 60 minutes. That was a good, attacking display. Much more enjoyable to watch. I hope Jacko is given a chance.
Just really pleased with that. Reaction of the players said a lot. They looked more relaxed. Conor on fire. After half hour I didn't feel like this! The hope is back. Well done Johnny Jackson!

I’d say well in credit today.
We didn't come back from 1-0 down technically.
Don’t say that.
Golfie will keep complaining that we haven’t come back from 1-0 since Wembley and I don’t think I can take that!
Awful start but players showed they are willing to dig in for JJ. Up to when we scored, we were always going to get a goal. A major positive was the number of players on the pitch who could score.
I know Sandgaard has spoken about sorting out the manager position quickly, but I hope he thinks again. It would IMO be an error to give it to anybody including JJ so soon. But let JJ earn it or not earn it. As Curbs said, he knows the players and the players have shown they will play for him.
Well those of us who thought LB's time had run its course have taken a bit of stick on here but tonight proves that it was the right thing for both LB and the club for him to move on.
Tremendous fighting display from the players who obviously wanted to do it for JJ. And do you know the thing that really caught my eye - the players were actually smiling and laughing with each other. They looked as if they were enjoying their football again. When we had that free kick at the end you could see Shinnie and F-C having a joke with each other over who was going to take it.
Take that spirit into the rest of the season and who knows what is possible.
JJ - on whether Lee Bowyer has indicated if he wants him to go to Birmingham: "I haven't spoken to Lee since he left. We haven't gone down that road yet. Whether that conversation will come, who knows? The football club is most important thing." #cafc
well, once i got over the dud info about purrington and gilbey being in the squad, well pleased with the starting midfield - had a mare for 15 mins but crucially we then got bewtter as the game went on whereas under LB lateley, we have been getting worse - well done Jacko - be great if him and curbs were to team up

Knowing they don't have a tormented and violent ogre to answer to in the dressing-room will help with things like that

JJ - asked if going to apply: "I know you think I'm dodging it but all my focus has been on the football match. I guess, maybe tomorrow, I will be able to have a think about something else." #cafc
Right, well THAT is how you do comebacks. You love to see it. I don't know if I can sense an immediate change from Bowyer just yet, but there's been a togetherness present since Maddison left that has solidified another little bit today (not to focus on MM so much as that's when I'd trace the shift in mentality back to).
I thought we had some poor performances that were made up for in spirit, and this was personified by Maatsen. He was braindead in giving away the penalty, but really responded well thereafter. Shinnie had a wonderful game along with JFC, and Morgan is so creative, though perhaps misused on the wing.
We didn't really miss Pratley or Watson, did we? One penalty and one aberration from Amos: not like those two would've anchored it.
I thought Washington was brilliant. He ran through walls for the whole 90 minutes and really deserved his goal. A shame that Gunter wasn't too hot to support Morgan; Pearce and Famewo seem a little off but that could well get there; Stockley didn't have much go his way. Jaiyesimi had a nice little cameo in stark contrast to Millar, whose star has fallen slightly in the last few matches.
But this is a great result viewed in the context of recent disruption. If 2-0 down was a (very brief) low point, and we can continue an upward curve from here, there's a good old fight left yet this season.
The fact that that's the first game since Wembley where we've come from behind to win says it all.
SO refreshing to see us attacking in the latter stages of the second half going for it. Noticed quite a few players visibly growing in confidence during this period which I thought was fantastic.
Great to see Jacko and players at the end, such a difference from avoiding eye contact with Bowyer etc.
Yelled the house down when Conor scored the winner! Can't remember when I last felt like that.
We deserved the win. Dodgy first half and the defensive frailties coming back to haunt us and we were lucky to go in only a goal behind with our only effort on goal. Better second half and we looked like we wanted it. That was the difference for me compared to the last few months. More expansive with JFC and Shinnie in the middle. Would like to see that sort of approach for the remaining 10 games and if TS hasn’t got anyone lined up imminently, then why not let Jackson have the run in
Johnnie oh Jonnie Jackson you’ve won a game for me👍👍👍👍👍 well Done JJ you bloody deserved that 👍👍 good team choice and good substitutions !! Amos is giving me stress with his stupid mistakes followed by decent moments........ very inconsistent the best and most entertaining game I have watched this season, well done JJ 👌👌👌
Team is short of confidence, Maatsen challenge and Amos's mistake must have made them think 'here we go again'. Wins build confidence, there are some poor teams in this division but teams like Donny and Pompey got up there by putting wins together, now look at them losing and short of confidence. Good thing about tonight is the spirit shown, we are nowhere near as good as the side that got promoted under Bowyer but spirit and fight can take you a long way, we need those qualities now.
IF we can get Inniss fit quickly enough and we play Watson in front of the defence, it will be hard for the top teams we play at the end of the season to break us down. We then might get into the pkayoffs with a few 1-0s. We won't get there with a weak defence. Giving Hull, Peterboro etc a 2 goal start will not work.
3 points and back in the playoffs! I honestly think you could see a difference in the attitude of the players, there were some smiles to be seen. It's the first game in ages that I have really enjoyed watching. I think the teams confidence will grow after that who knows we may even carry on climbing the table. Results gone our way again tonight
I think TS should consider what Curds said a few times. If you bring in someone who doesn’t know the players or the league, that could kill this little bit of momentum. If you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. If we get Iniss back, the defence is immediately better.
Unless you’re really sure you’ve got the best man for the long term, and are prepared to risk losing this chance, I be inclined to give JJ a run.

The players looked genuinely delighted and DJ had his best cameo for us.
Could do with 9 points from a poor Wimbledon and a tiring Doncaster and Lincoln to really set us up for the run in strongly.

Think Miller needs a rest.
Top 6, onwards and upwards.
