Quiet enjoying the revisionism of the RD era
Grass was always greener on the other side springs to mind.
In retrospect players like Yoni Buyons, JBG, Vetokeke, Teixeira, Bulot & Watt were a damn sight better than Clare & Dobson.
Which of those were signed in league one?
Taylor, Cullen, Bielik, Williams…. Even Jamie Ward and Billy Clarke
They weren't on his list? Point being, he's comparing two signing in one league one window to a series of signing made in the championship.

As for the players you've just listed.

    Cullen and Bielik were loans

Taylor was a great signing on a free.

    Williams is shit.
I’d still have Williams back like a shot . We are desperate for some creativity in this current  midfield.
The funny thing is alot of last season's squad players would get in our team now.

Shinnie & Maddison are arguably better / more creative than what we have in their positions today.

Even Paul Smyth would be a better option as a backup wide attacking player than what we currently have as backup to Washington and DJ, the likes of Clayden and Ghandour.
Probably a sign of advancing years, but I can’t remember him at all. Can remember the name, but that it.

Fantastic shit stirring but I don’t believe that for one second.

To start with he hasn’t even faced any criticism from journalists.
Why wouldn’t you believe it mate? I think it’s been very obvious many of the rumours coming ‘out the club’ since he’s arrived stem from Sandgaard talking privately with fans. I could easily highlight a few individuals who have the line in to him.

I obviously don’t know for sure, but I definitely could see him replying to a fan via LinkedIn with the above.

But those posters have been given wrong information ( or things changed last minute) in the last week.

But the fact it's from proven fantasist Ronnie/Bexley Boy/Colin Sams immediately puts doubts in most people's minds as does the lack of screen grab.

We also can't see, crucially, what TS is meant to be responding to.

Without that context it's hard to judge but for what it is worth the "j ournalist" might be Rod "domestic violence perpetrator" Liddle

Again (as previously noted) what journalists would TS be even referring to? Only Liddle has had a pop and that's because he's a wanker and would be doing it no matter what we did. The only "proper" journalists who pay any attention to Charlton are Cawley and Benjy Nurick and they're both on good terms as far as I know.
But it was clear from their tweets last night from both of those that in the press Conf Nigel was getting pressed for more details on recruitment (will it be before Saturday etc) and his responses were pretty cold.
That's a journalist's job though? Plus, that's Nigel getting asked not TS (the supposed author of the message.)

Seems a bit fishy to me.

Thunberg has also said that due to Climate Change the world in the future will become inhospitable to mankind, this period being around the same time that Charlton next have a decent cup run.

That's Guy Luzon who Ronnie/Bexley Boy Colin Sams said was the third best manager in Charlton history.

    No, really, he said that.

    For curiosities sake
    Thank you CL P.

So those who are going to make silly comparisons between Roland’s 6 years of transfers and TS’s 11 months, at least do it properly rather than half the story that you feel suits your narrative.

    Roland was an absolute shambles.
I've not said anything about players released or sold under Duchatalet. I simply said about 5 weeks ago that under RD we signed some decent players & that in the early days he backed the manager. Someone then posted some players we signed one summer & how by mid-late July we had signed more than TS's regime has done so far.

It was a simple analysis between 2 new owners & their backing of the manager during the summer transfer window. No more, no less. But of course, people like to shoot me down before reading what I post.
He backed the manager by selling Dale Stephens and Yann Kermorgant.  No one shot you down don’t be so sensitive, I’m merely pointing out that if you’re gonna compare transfers then compare the outs as well as the ins so it’s a proper reflection and comparison.

Just got a message from TS on LinkedIn:

”Please tell all the moaners and bedwetters on CharltonLife to calm down. It’s my club and I’ll do what I want. Up the Addicks!”

I said I would pass it on.
    Good on you TS.

    Red Red Robin was first,

Next, it’s on to changing our home shirts from red to Millwall blue or Surrey stripes.

Half the seats will be blue and the other half red.  He fancies the name Palace as well because like most yanks he loves the Royal Family.

Baah the classic "played well against us so must be a world beater ignoring all evidence which may suggest otherwise" player.

Agree up to a point but not in the case of Bellingham at 16 scoring at the Valley, Ben White for Leeds when 22 or Baah when 17 at the valley.

Baah very nearly signed for Man city in the summer so his  two goals did help for Rochdale but they were already monitoring his progress as  the U14 coach at Man city had worked with Kwadwo Baah in London after his release from Palace. The move broke down on a "technicality" but Watford were quick to pounce for a young talent.

I don’t know as don’t read other forums but told it was not from that poster. And, once again, please refrain from ‘naming’ other users. There is absolutely no need for it.
