Only watched the last 30 mins when it was 1-0, but what is it about Cafc sides that want to give you a roller coaster ride of emotions. Cracking finish after doing our normal against Birmingham and conceding leads.

Let's hope some go on to have a career with Cafc. Found it depressing when Terry Smith started recalling names who leave and play their best football away from us.

The day the decent youngsters can stay at Cafc will be the moment the Thomas Sandgaard era starts to work.

The very best youngsters will always leave, as there will always be a bigger club than us, but we need to become much better at keeping them for longer AND getting a good price for them

Was the game on you tube because it was played at the valley? As in if the final next week is at Wigan is there a possibility it wont be shown live ?
  • Took that winner with so much composure. Ice running through his veins.

Couldn’t see the Wigan game being shown anywhere so hope it isnt an example of the Final if it is played at the DW.

Unless they just played their game at the training ground as the DW would have had cameras there from the iFollow games

Enjoyed that - not much when we gave away a 2 goal lead in the last 6 minutes, but up out of my seat as the 3rd went in. Looks like some talented lads out there.
  • Not sure it’ll be at The Valley as Precision Pass are holding a big junior football event there next Saturday.

A cracking couple of hours entertainment and some excellent football from our lads.

Henry was boss and the 16 year old goalie, Beadle, looks absolute mustard. Rumours of Premier League sides, including Brighton, circling but it’s inevitable that someone playing for England Under 17s is going to attract attention. A local lad from Bexley, so hopefully he’ll sign on the dotted line on his 17th birthday in July.

Very impressive from Burston as well - a couple of excellent goals and his finish in injury time was sublime.

Really looking forward to next week’s final.

Might have been worth keeping his brother Harry on for another season to encourage James to sign...

Don't agree on Barker, reasonably solid but didn't think he was particularly impressive. Definitely a CB though so not writing him off, but don't think he's a RB

Would be curious as to why he was played at Right-Back

Did we have no natural RB available and Barker was the best of the CBs to play there.. Or are the two CBs better than him centrally so he was put out there?

I think Barker is the closest to the first team and I think I could see that in his play. But bags of potential throughout. Roll on next Saturday.

I thought Barker showed the energy getting up and down the flank of a natural RB!
