  • Some tasty first day fixtures there.

A great first game for Brentford in the PL. Home, and against one of the "big names"
They then have three winnable fixtures following that so could either get off to a great start or are going to seriously struggle from the beginning.

Norwich on the other hand have Liverpool, Man City, Leicester and Arsenal as their first four games so you dont see them getting off to a great start.
  • Great first fixture for Brentford.
  • Reminder that tomorrow is the big day for us as League One fixtures are set for release... In addition we'll also have the draw for the League Cup (at 3:40pm) and the EFL Trophy (at 4:30pm)

The moment that rubs it in that you didn't get promotion and are stuck in L1 for another season...
  • No dodgy leaks this year that turn out to be complete rubbish?

Shame :-) spose they must’ve all moved on to more glamorous things like made up transfer rumours…

Cant wait for the EFL trophy if we get a home tie it's bound to be a sellout.
  • Manchester United to send Palace down on the last day of the season then

Yeah, unfortunately it won't be the case

Palace to be down by March
  • Can't wait for the fixture list coming out tomorrow.

A whole football season of planning to put into a spreadsheet with some fantastic away weekends to arrange.

Just like they were supposed to do against West Ham when we went down.

Morecambe Away on a Tuesday - what a bugger.
And I’m November as well - weather should be great in that part of the world that night. I’ve already backed us to lose 1-0.
  • Will just have to wrap up well.

  • Last 9 games on paper don’t look a bad run in
  • Usually buzzing for the fixture release day but  doesn’t have the same appeal for me this day, maybe because theres unlikely to be away fans at any games
  • Really hope there’s some clarification on any Covid-related crowd restrictions because I really want to attend the opener but am concerned that being able to is going to be kiboshed.
  • Will tickets for the 1st game go on sales today anyone think ?

I very much doubt it. It's over 6 weeks before the start of the season. Usually tickets go on sale a couple of weeks beforehand, so I wouldnt see any being sold for around a month or so.
  • Assuming that there covid restrictions in place, it's a shame to have a potentially big crowd with away support restricted.
  • Cheese up, more mid week games at home than away. 6 H  4A in the league. Sunday is not mid week but Friday and Monday kind of are . It means most of our away games are on a Saturday or abank holiday so only 3 inconvenient dates for most people.  Even then MKD on a week day is do able without a stop over if one drives.
How can Friday and Monday be "mid week". By definition "mid week" is the middle of the week, so even if you take either Sunday or Monday as the start of the week (and most would say Monday) then "mid week" is tuesday or wednesday.
  • Don't care if theres no away fans, just potentially being able to go to The Valley for the first time since covid was 'a thing', is a huge mental sign of normality resuming.

When will match tickets for individual games go on sale?

The club are awaiting guidance from the EFL as to how many supporters will be permitted to attend games from the beginning of next season. Once this becomes clearer then match-to-match ticketing information will be communicated.
