Stupid foul from Watson and Roddy nearly puts it in his own net
Commentators both said it was a superb defensive cut out.
Wasn't meant as a slight at him, but he was 2 inches away from an OG. Thought the original effort was going wide but that may just be the angle I'm sat at.
I’ve noticed in possession albie and clare seem to take turns pushing right up to the defensive lines whilst Davison drops a little deep. Leaves us without many options other than going long imo.
I wonder what Roddy's wage is compared to an academy player at a similar level.
What has this got to do with anything
Only that he’s a player that has not been part of a professional club for 2 years and is only here because of his old man.
I hasten to add that it’s not his fault and he has my full support , albeit with huge scepticism, given that the staff at his school are staggered that he’s a pro.
It's a bit of a mixed bag tbh. We have looked really useful going forward at times, but there's still a lot of sideways/backwards balls before it's backed to the keeper and limped forward. Defence doesn't look convincing on the back foot, and Wimbledon are having a lot of joy out wide.

What game do we get our first shot on target?
