It's pathetic how much I enjoyed that equaliser. Palace were the better side in that. I'd love to remember the feeling of being gutted to only get a point at Arsenal.
Was thinking at the start of play for all the signings that appeared decent in the summer, they've only won one game...
Now back to thinking they did some really good business. Guehi and Anderson looks a really good partnership, Edouard is scoring, Gallagher was a shrewd signing, Olise set up a goal.
Currently I cannot bring myself to even laugh when things like this happen to Palace, we are so many worlds away from them at the moment that I can’t find the energy, if anything I was quite gutted for Gallagher. Apologies to lower the mood!
For all their improvement, Palace are only 14th, and you'd assume the likes of Leeds and Newcastle below them will improve this season
Palace are in that bracket of clubs with Southampton, Brighton etc who won't be top 10 but have a bit too much about them to go down. Norwich are nailed on to drop and i think the majority would expect Watford and Burnley to struggle.
You're correct in that Newcastle will improve......but only from January and that's a long way off. Right now their concern has to be will they get enough points by January to give themselves a decent chance in the second half of the season once they've made some signings. Their run between now and the window opening is:
Palace A Chelsea H Brighton A Brentford H Arsenal A Norwich H Burnley H Leicester A Liverpool A Man City H Man Utd H Everton A
Apart from the 2 in bold which they'll be under huge pressure to win, i honestly can't see where they get another win from. Newcastle could well go into January with just 10-12 points which will leave them with a huge task to stay up even with 4-5 new signings.

Of course I was pleased but I think the footballing life has been beaten out of me by Charlton . Just a few weeks back I was jumping up and down when Brighton got a last minute injury time equaliser against them giving the “V” to the telly swearing and getting all lairy …last night I could barely raise a smile, they have been for eons now and will be for many a year yet light years above us . They have a team playing a different game to us I remember coming in my pants when Morts and McKenzie netted in a 2-2 at Highbury …. Will we ever play in the top flight again, will we ever finish above the scum or palace , fuck off football

Eze and Zaha to come back too.
Decent side annoyingly.
So they've still only won one game....
They’ve had a really difficult start. Before last night the lowest team they’d played was Leicester in 11th.
Last nights game was awful, i know 4 goals but both team lacked any quality and were passing to the opposition constantly. Deserved draw, but two poor teams or at least on that showing, mistakes lead too chances. No team really dominated it, Benteke some how scores when he is useless, eduoard is a good player but playing out of position as no Zaha. Gallagher still looks a class above most there.

Don’t get your hopes up, no way they’re going down this season.
My palace ‘mate’ said performances this season are ten times better than the last few seasons and he actually enjoys watching them again. As painful as it is to say it but the results will soon follow. They’ll be comfortable mid table this season. Horrible I know.
7-0 now... Wonder how soon it'll be before the Norwich fans get fed up with the club's approach of promotion / relegation without actually giving it a go at survival in the Premier League - This might well be securing the clubs long term future, but the fans must still have some impatience?

2 seasons ago they gave it a reasonable go, this season has been pathetic.
All Chelsea's goal scorers English? 7 English men in the squad? Man City full of English players. Man UTD a decent amount of English players. How often have the top clubs been stacked full of English players recently?

Ma Salah is now in Madame Tussauds. A good job too
Looks like it got up late and only had some white blazer that was clean on!! - Why not stick him in a Liverpool kit?
It's now changed to players going down claiming a head injury when the opportunity arises.
How can Havertz (who I brought in to my Fantasy Team and captained) play 70 minutes and contribute no goals or assists FFS
But if they're winning the Championship which the likes of Fulham | West Brom are also yo-yo'ing between
What does it say about those who cant get promoted instead of them
Surely if Norwich dont stand much of a chance, then those still in the Championship stand even less of one
