Unfortunately not so good news for Evans and Norrie who are both 2 sets down. Having said that, Evans has just broken the Alcaraz serve to lead 4-3 in set 3.

Norrie lost in straight sets. Evans lost in 4.
Boulter was scheduled to start in an hour or so but it looks like it could be at least a couple of hours waiting with Rublev/Rinderknech as well as a women’s doubles match to be completed on the Grandstand court first.
On the bright side, she is up to a new live ranking of world no. 50!
And with only player able to catch her, she will stay inside the top 50 when the new rankings are released… as long as that player (the unreturned Wozniacki) doesn’t reach the final, thus jumping Boulter and others.
Draper the only Brit left across men’s and women’s singles heading into round 4 - his best ever Grand Slam performance already. He’ll play 8th seed Rublev on Monday.
Good display by Evans but Norrie comes up short once again at a Grand Slam.
Not sure how much higher Boulter can progress - not competitive enough against the better players.
Draper looks a great prospect barring injury.
There are a lot of fine young players coming through,so Draper is going to have it tough, but he looks the part, and as you say if injury free he can join in the fun and get some titles under his belt.I think he can win today.

What's the "rule" with how long Draper is allowed to go for a break, Callum?
Players are permitted to use the toilet during a tennis match. The time limit is 3 minutes from the moment the player enters the toilet and can be extended by 2 further minutes if the player changes clothing. Players may have 1 toilet break each in a 3-set match and 2 breaks in a 5-set match.
Thought Draper did well.not much playing time, and certainly lack of long match experience.contributed to this defeat.Rublev is a top 10 player and it showed,he hardly put a foot wrong in the long rallies.Concentrate on hi s fitness and he could become a top 10 himself,he has all the shots, and I think the temprement.

As I say that, back on serve in the second set. Keeping an eye on proceedings…
On serve 2-1 in second set.
Draper was only second best by a small margin but then fitness issues took over midway through the third set… and that was that.
If he wins the semi, he’d be on the brink of breaking into the top 100 and winning the event would put him firmly into the mid 90s.
