  • We've not been too bad but got a bit sloppy after around 30 minutes. Matthews should've done better for the goal. Their left winger is the best player on the pitch though.
  • Played so well for first 30 mins or so - really good stuff. Decent vocal support too.

Matthews did a couple of decent things while going forwards, but he's an utter liability defending - lucky to get away with his first error.

Just hope we can get some confidence and momentum and start playing like the first 30.
  • I thought we did well for 35 mins.
And that's our issue. In most games this season we've done well for 35 minutes, but can never sustain it, and look totally lost for the other 55.

    Second bottom at moment.

we haven’t got players to go 433, game after game our left and right backs get exposed, NA so thick he can’t see the blindingly obvious.
  • They seem to have so much space on Matthews side all half. Had the better of it for most of the half but we're very soft at the back.

Nice to see our wide men being very dangerous. Some very good wing play but stopped using them in that last 15 mins which has let Bolton back into it.
  • Leko and Davison have looked very good. Disappointing to be behind. Need to start converting the pressure when we have it. We will inevitably concede, one ain't enough.
  • Not fit enough to put 45 minutes together, let alone 90.
  • Stockley is a lazy sod, just saying
Watching Davison does kind of bring this home.
  • Would swap Leko and CBT. CBT will tear that left back for pace.

  • We look a bit more organised but still too careless in defence and Bolton looked far better than us. We play a lot of hospital balls and are under pressure too much.
  • Well it's just started absolutely pissing down here, so depending on how long it takes to make its way over, that doesn't bode well for the end of the second half.

The right set up but Clare is the weak link as the attacking mid. He was missing for most of the half.
Get Washington on up front with Davison and Lee back in central mid and we could win this game.
    Clare's been MOM...
Tell me 2 things he did. Spent most of the half making himself unavailable to defenders looking for an out ball.
Leko has been the most effective so far by the way.
  • We are missing some speed and tenacity in midfield, just giving them less time on the ball.

     Completely disagree.

Lee seemed to be too far forward for the 4-3-3 that we started with (and looked comfortable with for the first 35 minutes)

After that he's pushed up to support Davison - an unnecessary move. We've almost gone 4-2-4
  • I'm going down my allotment, with a torch and some Spanish Brandy :)
  • Deja vu

Good half hour take the lead play well fail to get a second and then concede from sloppy defending
  • Second bottom at moment.

  • If you're changing any midfielders, it's Watson off.

Actually think definitely this will make us so much worse. Leko isn’t great at tracking but CBT just doesn’t do it. Their LW would be dominating even more

  • Beyond bonkers that Kirk and/or DJ aren’t on the bench!

    Who are our impact subs!?

Our subs are earmarked from the first minute - Washington, stockley and Gilbey - it’s inevitable!

    Luckily we’re not behind…
  • Matthews was exposed but he should not let him inside, very similar to the Wycombe goal which wasn't down to Matthews.

We don't need an impact sub at the moment.

We just need to get back to playing our game.
  • Good thirty minutes but lost our way from then on and the equaliser was inevitable.

Again for the second game in a row Matthews was caught out and invited a shot on goal.

CBT anonymous this half. Lavelle still looks uncomfortable playing out from the back.

    But a big improvement.

    Could go either way

    Clare MOM so far.

I would only say we have set up as 4231 as the graphic illustrates. Lee is playing more forward by design
  • Same old crap - unable to get a 2nd goal when on top, and concede another sloppy goal.  Anything less than a win and Adkins has to go.

Similar to the Wycombe goal, and the Pompey goal, and....

When you play Charlton, the game plan is simple: isolate the right back, cut inside and have a pop.
  • Curbs said we should score first and then when Bolton push forward we can hit them on the break ........ well that worked
  • Curbishley sounds amazingly pissed off at Matthews performance, would love to hear what he says off air.
