    Just for context...

    League Cup... 1-game | 0-goals
    EFL Trophy... 1.5-games | 9-goals
    League... 11-games | 12-goals
Hate to be pedantic though this does offer even more context.

Those that support Adkins will include these victories in the stats. Those that don't won't. And those that are undecided will try to see the negative and positive from the EFL matches.

Our purely defensive left back adds a goal to his assist
Must be the most prolific Full-Back we've ever had?
No that was the guy who scored a hat trick
on his debut or Mark Reid.
I know. Mar Reid scored a few though.  Kinsey also but left wing before switching.  Hewie maybe ?
What's it like living in a world of your own?

You're even responding to your own posts.

Impressive stats from all three... Just checked Wiki so might not be accurate but:

    Mark Reid (15) | Brian Kinsey (19) | John Hewie (37)

Out of sight here. Defence untroubled, Harness only had to make one save. Clare and Dobson effective in midfield.
But DJ constantly making the wrong decisions and Kirk offering no attacking threat. Kirk is a real puzzle. He does not have pace, cannot beat a defender going forward, missed the best chance of the game and does not cross the ball. What exactly is he supposed to be?
He seems to rely on somebody overlapping.
Maybe Souare will unlock his mojo

Fingers crossed no goals against in the second half so we can enjoy a clean sheet win.

Mark Reid was our regular penalty taker.

Brian Kinsey scored most of his goals as a left winger.

John Hewie played every position for Charlton - including goalkeeper, although he didn't score many in goal.

  • 689 in the ground and still somebody sitting snug under a blanket shouted "Siddarn" almost dropping their flask, as Purrington headed in the third. 😁
  • Great ball from Doyle for Southampton!! - Unfortunate that his team mate lost his footing
  • The 15 year old Doyle looks a tidy player

  • Worth pointing out that Johnnie Jackson is in charge for this game.

Adkins is up in the stands next to Roddy.

I don't think he played left winger
    I bet he did.

You'll no doubt remember there were no subs in those days.
If you got injured and you hadn't actually broken your leg, you were shunted out to left wing, whether you could still run or not - just to keep the team with 11 players.

    Matthews needs shooting.

Same mistake as last 3 games he's played, this time it costs us again and Harness saves his skin.
