That'll knock a few hundred off the away attendance. The magic of the fa cup.
Surely a TV fee covers 200 tickets
Oh that’s alright then 🙄
What are we moaning about now? Because I'm stuck. Lose 200 seats because its on TV, but you get a bigger fee than 200 tickets from ITV, unless you think we are taking 3000 to any away game any time soon ?
You can still travel to Gateshead if you like, I look forward to seeing the pictures.
Because I imagine some people wanted to go and now they can’t
If it’s altrincham then I’d have gone had it been on a Saturday. I can’t take the time off work to go on a Friday evening though.
If it’s Gateshead then it likely means a hotel stay now as well
That's probably case for whatever day we played though.
Will always be a date that suits some and not others. Most live cup slots are pretty shit either way, unless you get the 5.30 Saturday one.

I’m moaning that fans aren’t being thought about ‘yet again’. That we should just be happy to get the TV money & be done with it? Youngsters like an away day. How many will not now go because they can’t have a night out after in a town/city nearby? It’s not just about you & I, it’s about keeping young fans interested in what was once a special tournament that has now been devalued by TV money, the EPL…….the list goes on.
I see ageism is alive and kicking. I'm 47 and I love an away day. 😂😂😂

Shame it wasn't on the Sunday for "historical" reasons, apart from that pretty happy. Wouldn't have gone so now I can see us lose live on tv for free....😄.
There will always be some group of fans unhappy with the time its shown. Also don't get the faux angst over moving the kick-off time/date for tv - this has been going on for years so time you got used to it.

Wasn't able to watch the first round match from abroad due to the broadcast rules around Charlton TV. Hopefully the game being on ITV4 means I can catch it somewhere.
In that regard, I am a fan that is very happy that it's been moved for TV. If you want to go that badly, you will find a way.

Because we usually get a boring home draw, then if it's anything good it turns into a total pain to go to - Northwich, Halifax, Mansfield, this.
What's the point in this competition if the only games worth getting excited about involve a hotel night? I know quite a few well travelled, regular away fans and only one of them is considering this fixture.
I'll save my money and day off for the probable Crewe postponement in a competition that actually matters.

Also may have to play on 14th December if a replay is needed.
