  • Great photos. What time did they get in the queue @oohaahmortimer?
southwark park ish around 11pm and just spoke to her and she reckons another two hours
  • Is there any news yet on where people can queue, while waiting for the queue to reopen?

So people now are gonna have to queue to even get into the queue?

It's a queue, queue. Or, as we know it in London, a Barney McGrew.

Rumours abound that they are planning on setting up a holding pen at The Valley.

Sandgaard not planning on releasing them though until they've bought at least one match day ticket for a game in October.

  • Can’t wait until OohAahs missus comes home with her newly formed ‘Queue Friends’ from Kettering, Taunton and Thailand who will now be staying at Ooh Aah Mansions until after Monday’s funeral :-)
    I'm sure he won't mind.

It’s weird how much I want the queue to get so long that it has to be paused - that would be like Britain winning the queuing World Cup.

GB are already the holders of this title.
I have Queued up for Wimbledon and you were in a park and there was tea, coffee, food and toilets available.

I will print my thesis on this phenomenon of queues and how many people find it's easier to go with the crowd and not swim against  the tide, when the stats come in; I have a black box which is going crazy with data ! How many were actual royalists in the lines and how many just wanted to be part of a British tradition. Do A-Listers have to Q ?

The Royal PR machine has played a blinder and I'm not surprised as when you get 24/7  coverage on the main state broadcaster and nearly as much on every other station then the narrative is heaven bound. Diana Who ? is now ancient history and the Queen died (probably in the morning) which gave time to get the Royal Firm to Scotland and everyone dressed in black for the announcement at 6.31 pm if memory serves me right when Hugh Edwards interrupted the Athletics bbc 601 on freeview to make it official. Quite fitting the gun was just being fired for a race as the blanket coverage of the first lady of GB life could start, despite London bridge has fallen doing the rounds for about 6 hours at least.

The Queen is Dead, long live the King was seamless even though it still needed the media to kick in and keep the eulogizes coming on a loop.

Different feel to Diana's death and funeral as the Queen was 60 years older, head of the institution and wasn't rocking the Royal boat.

The irony that the person who said abolish the monarchy back in the day as a Lib Dems is for turning on the monarchy as well as Brexit and is now PM of a conservative party. Young Liz isn't as stupid as she comes across ;Truss me, though she may be a couple of sandwiches short of a royal picnic.

    Nature save us.

  • Christ. Is that supposed to be funny?
  • Beckham has been in The Queue since 2am... someone has confirmed that he has as her mates mum has been in the queue with him... in a queue with Beckham all night!  Lucky son of a gun.
  • I caught it on ITV news.  I was impressed the way he could speak so well (he does speak much better now) after being up all night. And he still looks impeccable.

  • Wouldn't it be better to line the streets and drive the Queen's coffin around? Given the numbers and the time it is taking to queue.

  • Beck's on the live stream now. Walking down the steps. Fair play to the bloke
  • He's the next one up and they're changing the guard. Coincidence??
