I hope we go for Tucker in January, maybe we offer Elewere on loan to them.1

I'd be surprised if Tucker came to us in January. He'll have a lot of Championship clubs after him on a free transfer in the summer and his agent will likely be telling him to wait for the big offers. Our best bet is probably to get promoted and hope he doesn't feel like moving house

Not bothered about Tucker at all. The latest (ingoing) message board obsession.4
-

I think talk of "millions" was wide of the mark, would be a great addition to Stockley and Washington.4 -
Gillingham are in a tailspin nosedive according to my mate at work and the fans want scally was it? (looks like cartoon character penfold) out - reckon we could pick off some good value there if there is anything we want like Tucker or whoever0

Second this. He didn't have a preseason. When he came in, he got thrown in to a poor team and then got injured. And we know he's missed a fair amount of football in recent years because of the car wreck. I think he looks a decent League One LB. He's not that far removed from being a Premier League regular. I don't think there's anything wrong with him as backup to Purrington.Chunes said:Soare put in a lovely pass/cross for Washington's second on Saturday. He does look dodgy at times but perhaps that's down to having played so little consistent football over the years. The quality is there.4 -
Tucker is like some kind of modern day Darren Purse or Hayden Mullins.2
-
this year's Tom Eaves0

I quite like Kane Wilson at Forest Green, he's from the same West Brom youth batch as Leko and Sam Field. Matty Stevens is having a good season over there as well. Maybe less likely in January but if they don't go up they'd be possible. I also liked the look of James Hill but apparently he's being looked at by Burnley and, er, Barcelona so might be slightly beyond our reach

I'm all for bringing in Dion Charles. Very talented, eye for goal and strong on the ball.
He may prefer to stay in the North West (his clubs to date have been Blackpool, Fylde, Skelmersdale, Fleetwood, Halifax, Southport, Accrington...) but I hope we're in contact with him at least.

We could get Dale Stephens to convince him that we're in the North?7

It's mostly psychological. He needs cognitive behavioural therapy.addick1956 said:
How bad is CBT's injury ?sammy391 said:
With CBT injured, and Kirk not kicking on - hate having to rely on Leko who is extremely hit and miss!cafcfan1990 said:
A winger is the last position we need, especially in our current formationsammy391 said:Striker x2
work horse/water carrier midfielder to replace arter

Living in Burnley or Barcelona - that is going to be a really tough choice for him.Garrymanilow said:I quite like Kane Wilson at Forest Green, he's from the same West Brom youth batch as Leko and Sam Field. 5 miles from Burnley.3 -
My money's on a coked up bullshitter of an agent being behind that Barcelona link.4

Matt Southall you mean?SantaClaus said:My money's on a coked up bullshitter of an agent being behind that Barcelona link.6 -
I'd take Vadaine Oliver from Gills. Absolute unit3

I feel we only need one addition maybe a younger pacy forward to rotate and be that impact sub.
Towards end of the window depending on the fitness of those returning from injury we could get another centre back to compete.
A bonus would be if we are top half pushing for play-offs by then that we could try get Lee, Famewo & Leko on a permanent they all appear to enjoy playing for Jacko mix well with the lads and settled at the club.0 -
Wasn't our summer window strategy "wait until the last day and get quality players at a knock down price from struggling clubs"
Like how we signed Kirk on the cheap and brought in Lavelle after not getting the first choice and brought in Lowery and Tucker and Dempsey and...

In all seriousness, think people are in danger of getting summer window carried away, would expect the ins to match Sandgaards paper chat.
Couple of development squad players and JFC registered, if we can send Arter back then a loan CB in, maybe a youth forward but they'd have to be better than Davison.

If he lives in Gillingham he’ll jump at the chance.Garrymanilow said:I'd be surprised if Tucker came to us in January. Maybe he’s been shite this season and is part of the crap they’ve been churning outSoundAsa£ said:

I wouldn't want any gillingham player, ticket and the midfielder that we were linked with in the summer. They play for a terrible team, why would we want them3

Agree - Dale Stephens from Oldham & Matt Taylor from Exeter were dreadful players when they signed in 2011. So was Mark Kinsella from Colchester. It never works out taking players from teams that are worse than us.Todds_right_hook said:I wouldn't want any gillingham player, ticket and the midfielder that we were linked with in the summer. Agreed, we should be signing players from Liverpool and Man City only. I mean the last player we signed from City did so well.Todds_right_hook said:I wouldn't want any gillingham player, ticket and the midfielder that we were linked with in the summer. Just because they play for a terrible team doesn't mean that all of their players are terrible. Wimbledon were pretty shit but Lyle Taylor was a good player.Todds_right_hook said:I wouldn't want any gillingham player, ticket and the midfielder that we were linked with in the summer. Gillingham's better players (Tucker, Dempsey, Oliver) could all improve our squad.1 -
I’d take Dempsey all day long in Jan.2
-
I wouldnt mind another raid on Crewe to get Lowrey0
