There’s zero in between. Tick Tock Gallen.
I'm going with the 12th after a drab 0-0 draw at Crewe.
We've had months to get business done in the background, so why havent we done it early?1 -

What were the ridiculous circumstances ?Leuth said:Costa was 29. I also didn't know a) the frankly ridiculous circumstances of him signing for us, b) that he only played 24 league games for us (but WHAT games!) and c) that he went on to win a league, a domestic cup, a UEFA cup and a Champions League within two years of leaving us, and all that after scoring for the USA in the World Cup too (which I did remember)0 -
Despite being a near-legend and captain at Porto, he fell out with the manager and had to take a little sabbatical in SE7. Then that manager got booted out, a chap called Jose came in and the rest was history0

Golfie will be moaning immediately after the Wycombe game that we dropped points/goal difference because we didn't sign another strikerCallumcafc said:

If they're good enough they're young enough.
Any signing under the Driesen/Duchatelet era was likely to have been badly thought out or just moving on unwanted stock from elsewhere in the network. There were still a decent ones among the dross however and a few that might have done well given time.
Nothing wrong with signing senior players for their experience and leadership (Andy Hughes, Diarra) to compliment a younger fitter squad on longer deals.
As always, the trick is getting the balance right and seeing players as individuals and for what they can contribute rather than setting arbitrary age or other criterion.11 -
As curbs used to say, they have to improve on what we have.Henry Irving said:If they're good enough they're young enough.

Millwall had a 15 year old lad playing for them last night, 15!!!Henry Irving said:If they're good enough they're young enough.

Sort of striker we should be after… big bloke who can hold it up and play the Stockley role if needed but also has some technical ability and could play alongside Jayden in a two when Washington is unavailable. Think of him as a Chuks Aneke that can stay fit.Wycombe fans desperate to get him back after selling him to Boro in the summer.3

I quite like Steven Humphrys as a striker. Went to Wigan in the summer and it’s not happening.
similar to Stockers he’s a physical player but also decent with his feet. I don’t think he’d cost a vast amount but definitely a step up on Davison2 -
Would be a very good loan signing if no other big striker lined up on a permanent.Callumcafc said:Sort of striker we should be after… big bloke who can hold it up and play the Stockley role if needed but also has some technical ability and could play alongside Jayden in a two when Washington is unavailable. I was desperate for us to get him in the summer, can’t see Wigan selling him in January to a (potential) rival though.Swisdom said:I quite like Steven Humphrys as a striker. Went to Wigan in the summer and it’s not happening.

Looks like he is pulling a hammy in this photo, on that evidence alone, I assume he has already signed an agreementCallumcafc said:Sort of striker we should be after… big bloke who can hold it up and play the Stockley role if needed but also has some technical ability and could play alongside Jayden in a two when Washington is unavailable. Lukaku unhappy at Chelsea, snap him up Thomas, he'd be perfect backup for Stockley6

His big man awkwardness reminds me of Akpo Sodje. Some good goals in that clip though.0

Gives us a chance then. They are 16 points and 2 games in hand ahead of us, we are no rival. That said, I suspect he went there for the wages they were offering so even if they would move him on I don't see us affording him.ElliotCAFC said:

Dom Telford at Newport only has 6 months left.on his contract if Wiki is correct and seems to be ashing it in L2 with a goal every 80mins so far this season. Could be affordable, is 25 and has ventured south before.1 -
Was it Cherno Samba?Millwall had a 15 year old lad playing for them last night, 15!!!14 -
As long as we both can mathematically meet each other in the play-offs, we’re a rival.Athletico Charlton said:

How much can we afford then? Just wondering, is there a direct link to TS bank account that I’ve not seen, as so many seem to know what we can and can’t afford.🤷🏻♂️Athletico Charlton said:

If Sandgaard is to believed we wont be doing much business in the transfer window, only bringing in 1 or 2 players and who will be youngsters that we can develop and then maybe sell on.
Dont want you all getting you hopes up again like you did in the summer now do we....🙂2
