Well done Fanny but you could have made the rain a bit more localised - I've just spent six hours to, from and at another game in Horsham during which time not one ball was bowled!
“The balls have been shocking this year,” Borthwick said on Sunday. “This batch are just different. They seem to go soft pretty quickly and then when they get soft they swell a bit and go out of shape. It’s something to do with Dukes, they have obviously got this batch wrong. I know the seamers want them to go back to last year’s batch because I think the seams are actually smaller on them as well, so you get a little bit less sideways movement. I guess that’s why there’s so many big scores already this season.”
Dilip Jajodia, whose company British Cricket Balls Ltd produces the Dukes balls, told the Guardian he believed the problem had been addressed. “There’s been a quality issue, on the basis that balls are going out of shape,” he said. “It’s not a major issue. We’ve tightened up our process, we’re sending balls out all the time, and hopefully the feedback will be better.”
Jack Leaning will captain a 13-strong side that travel to Northampton.
Grant Stewart returns after a hamstring injury ruled him out of Kent’s draw against Surrey, and Marcus O’Riordan is included for the first time since scoring his maiden first-class century against Sri Lanka Development XI at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.
Left-arm spinner James Logan travels with the squad, but Nathan Gilchrist is ruled out with a minor injury.
With the Vitality Blast beginning next week, Matt Milnes & Joe Denly have been rested for this fixture.
I've read some rubbish in my time (and to be fair written plenty too) but Milnes is not being "rested" ahead of the Vitality Blast (he's taken 4 wickets all season) any more than Denly is having to be too (played one match in the last 6 weeks and that finished 12 days ago).
Still waiting to see where the strong part is to that line up ? That bowling line up looks so toothless, when is Henry coming ???
Also on a side note, think it is very bold of Kent not to bring back Adam milne for the t20? We Look a bowler light in that department
Henry is in the NZ squad and won't be available 'til July so for the last half a dozen CC matches. Adam Milne presumably isn't coming back because NZ have T20 internationals in June and July and he might well be called up for those squads.

Looks pretty promising to me
All that dancing's worn me out !
RIP big fella.
Forgot if I've asked previously, but do you have tickets for any of the home T20 games ?
If Rob Key has any sense, he'll get the ECB to offer you a central contract @Fanny Fanackapan.
Oh, and some corn plasters !
