Been in meetings so only been watching out of the corner of my eye, but some interesting things I've noticed:
Bakrin looks decent both on the ball and in terms of having a bit of pace, but he and Deji have at times really struggled to deal with the cleverness and movement of the Villa forwards
It's really interesting to see Kirk on the right and CBT on the left. CBT has played mostly on the right, even when we played with wingers instead of wingbacks, and it at times forced Leko to the left which is less natural for him. Kirk is obviously a left winger who wants to cut in on his right, but as we saw on Saturday, that doesn't work all that well when playing as a wingback as there's no overlap to create overload situations. Given CBT does have a decent left foot I wonder if Jacko is trying to find a place for Kirk in this system, because right now he doesn't really seem to have one. He's been alright tonight, but hasn't done enough to convince me that he has a place in this system.
Minutes in the tank for Watson, Arter, and Morgan. They've all had some good moments and some less good moments. With the Christmas period coming up, we will need them at some point, so just keep them fit and sharp is very important, even if none of them are first choice.
On that note, it's been fun watching Watson just try to bully the yoot. As someone who is his age, I respect that approach when playing against teenagers.
To be fair to Gunter, he's really not a LCB. To be less fair to him, is he really Wales' top caps winner?
Slight lack of defensive concentration from Bakrin there, nearly caught out when Archer manages to stop the ball going out from play but luckily they don't do anything with it.
