  • These long balls up to our wing backs aren’t working, so why do Famewo and Inniss keep persisting with it?

Is it because our midfield aren’t there to receive the ball? Lack of movement? Boredom at the repeated sideways passing?
  • DJ tripped in the box.

    Ref blows for a foul.

Calm down, DJ was on defensive duties.

    MacKeeper takes it ...
  • Plymouth 1-0 Lincoln
  • Lee, Clare and CBT the only ones looking brave enough to receive the ball and turn. Nothing coming off for Lee.  Clare looks the most dangerous which says a lot when it’s your right centre back offering the most attacking threat.

Dobbo and Clare been very good. Everyone else, ordinary at best. Remember when they weren't even in the squad under Adkins?

Iniss particularly poor. Just knocking aimless long balls into their forwards.
    Clare has been absolutely appalling.
  • Clare totally off the boil at the minute.

  • 33' Hayes almost breaks through the Charlton defensive line, but a last-ditch tackle stops him in his tracks.
  • Foul on Clare goes unpunished. Brilliant defending from Famewo.
  • Sorry, jinxed Clare.

If this is how Jackson has us playing, he is not the right man to take us forward. Players have regressed these past few weeks, and that's saying something as they were shit before.
Part of me agrees, but the other part says this rotten lot have played like this under three managers now, so who is the constant here?
Get rid of them all. Start fresh.
  • Fucks sake DJ, you only have to beat him once.
  • How is Albie Morgan keeping Gilbey out of this side?
  • At the game. Wish i wasnt. This is shit. Against a better side we'd be 2 down. We look what we are,a bang average League 1 side. Dobbo the only one coming out of this atm with any credit.
    I disagree.

We are a below average league one side in a relegation fight.
  • Getting out muscles in midfield. Gilbey on at half time to add some physical presence. Perhaps Watson on for Morgan and Gilbey for Lee. Push Gilbey forwards.
  • How many stupid fouls do we give away? Make it so easy for the opposition.

Foul by Elliot Lee (Charlton Athletic).

Jay Matete (Fleetwood Town) wins a free kick in the defensive half.

  • Oh God, Lee caught dribbling 25 yards from him own goal.

    This is...not good.

    Oh mate, he really hasn't.

  • Midfield is poor apart from Dobson, no criticism of Morgan but the long balls from the back are passing him by.

  • 36' Camps is free in the box and was ready to get on the end of Batty's cross, but it is overhit.
  • Bugger me, we've had a shot!

That the keeper had to save!

You don't see that from our players too often these days.
  • Fantastic save.
  • I haven't read the whole thread, also not sure if anyone has said anything similar before, but Brownie has a tendency to over analyse every pass in every move.   I wish he wouldn't.

Please take a few breaths, Steve.   Please.   Sometimes the action is enough and doesn't need your dulcet tones.

    p.s. I'm in a grumpy mood today.
  • Good save keeper from Lee

To be fair, just nearly gave us the lead. Really good save from Cairns down low to his left. Good work from Chuks being a nuisance and having a clever touch.
  • Blackett Taylor :#

  • 37' Chance! The ball drops to Lee in the box who gets away an initial shot which is well blocked by a Fleetwood defender, before Cairns makes a good save from Lee's second bit of the cherry.
