Lee, Clare and CBT the only ones looking brave enough to receive the ball and turn. Nothing coming off for Lee. Clare looks the most dangerous which says a lot when it’s your right centre back offering the most attacking threat.
Unless Purrington is carrying a knock I really don't see how CBT plays. Ben is better defender and better goal threat. Morgan in place of Gilbey is also crazy. Is Jacko losing it and starting to panic? This is so poor. Lost all our shape again.
If this is how Jackson has us playing, he is not the right man to take us forward. Players have regressed these past few weeks, and that's saying something as they were shit before.
Part of me agrees, but the other part says this rotten lot have played like this under three managers now, so who is the constant here?
At the game. Wish i wasnt. This is shit. Against a better side we'd be 2 down. We look what we are,a bang average League 1 side. Dobbo the only one coming out of this atm with any credit.
I disagree.
We are a below average league one side in a relegation fight.
Getting out muscles in midfield. Gilbey on at half time to add some physical presence. Perhaps Watson on for Morgan and Gilbey for Lee. Push Gilbey forwards.
I haven't read the whole thread, also not sure if anyone has said anything similar before, but Brownie has a tendency to over analyse every pass in every move. I wish he wouldn't.
Please take a few breaths, Steve. Please. Sometimes the action is enough and doesn't need your dulcet tones.
Oh God, Lee caught dribbling 25 yards from him own goal.
This is...not good.
To be fair, just nearly gave us the lead. Really good save from Cairns down low to his left. Good work from Chuks being a nuisance and having a clever touch.
37' Chance! The ball drops to Lee in the box who gets away an initial shot which is well blocked by a Fleetwood defender, before Cairns makes a good save from Lee's second bit of the cherry.

Is it because our midfield aren’t there to receive the ball? Lack of movement? Boredom at the repeated sideways passing?
Ref blows for a foul.
Calm down, DJ was on defensive duties.
MacKeeper takes it ...

That the keeper had to save!
You don't see that from our players too often these days.

p.s. I'm in a grumpy mood today.
