When we have possession, he hides. What's happened to him?
Finding someone to play his position in January should be the priority and will transform us as a team. Genuinely doesn’t impact the game either attacking or when defending. A passenger for most of those 90 mins.

We’ve got backwards over the last few months. We looked promising when Louie Watson was starting ahead of him. Fraser has been part of that and he doesn’t look like the player who nearly scored double figures last season.

I don’t have time to run the stats, but I’ve been thinking for a while that things started to go down hill with the away defeat at Lincoln which I think was Fraser’s first start and it’s been getting worse since he’s been starting regularly.

Correlation isn’t always causation and he can’t be held responsible for everything but I just don’t really see what he is bringing to the side or why Watson, who was playing well, has been dropped for him.

Watson has two poor games and is frozen out + Fraser has god knows how many and retains his place = Appleton is a fool.

He always takes the easy option, even when there are options to play forwards. He slows the game down and goes sideways. No bravery. Should be taking games by the scruff of the neck and dragging us into them. Instead he's a bystander.

League one's best playmaker, proper mustard, Rolls Royce, Pirlo etc etc.

The comparison with Pirlo is a good one, and pretty accurate. Neither of them have had a good game in years.

We haven’t won a game in which Fraser started in the 2 next to Dobson, his only win was when we scraped past Cheltenham but Louie Watson started in a 3 with him and Dobson.

Basically it’s blindingly obvious that picking Fraser over Watson has been a terrible idea, unless you are Michael Appleton

Luxary player very good footballer but you need to do both the flash and the ugly.
Still feel the same well maybe just a decent footballer. Never known a Scotsman to be so passive
  • Not enough intensity

  • Fella offers nothing positive to this side.

Set pieces - crap, straight at the keeper
Engine - non existent and slows everything down again when he gets on the ball
    Tackle - shirks them all
Leadership - goes hiding. Watch next game, when we have a throw he goes over the other side of the pitch and stays out the game
Defending - stands there waving his arms (tbf a lot of them do this)
Desire and commitment - no hope there

Have we ever had such an ineffective midfield pairing as Fraser and Dobson. I can't believe we've stuck with it for so long? It'll be 2 years in January

I’m sure his reputation isn’t actually based on anything he’s done for Charlton. He’s still living off that game for MK 3 years ago. If he left in January I’d be pleased but he’s another player who will stay put because no other club will offer the wages we give him.

He's everything wrong with this current squad, summed up in one man.

Over inflated ego, on too much money, almost always shit, but delivers something every so often that keeps a portion of the fanbase thinking he'll come good.

Bet he's a proper drip to hang around with as well.

Very much like Semedo and Racon. Dobson like Semedo could play in a better side. Without the goals and assists of last season Fraser is like Racon, looks good on the ball occasionally but doesn’t offer enough.

He doesn't have the fitness/energy to play a full game, so hides because he needs to rest.

Technically good but besides that, he offers nothing. Even with him being okay on the ball, he doesnt fancy it and often goes missing.

Bin him off and replace him with someone who can pass and run!

NB the Follow Follow song about Fraser the Scottish Pirlo makes me want to puke.
Stop singing it or change the words, it's so idiotic.

Tbf he did actually have a shot against Orient....that the keeper actually had to dive for & make a save.

    A goal is a coming......

Words mate - "I consider myself to have the biggest schlong and last the longest in the South East"

Reality is it's a 2 inch wonder and I'm 10 seconds, including the glass of wine and fag at the end.....
  • Our best creative player, though whether he's good enough is I guess debatable. Slightly worrying that McKenna at Ipswich was happy to be rid of him.
Well what does he know. I'm sure Ipswich players are stealing a living in the Championship and would struggle to get o Charlton's bench. How are they doing these days??
  • I think he must have cribbed these words from Haaland!

Racon(!) was quite decent for a few games in both the championship and league one .  Not seen anything from bloke .  I wonder who invented the Pirlo thing - beyond being paid to play football, they have nothing in common

I’m shocked by how poor he has been he should be bossing things on the front foot but he just stops anything happening by being so slow and passing backwards or at best sideways. No way he should be starting going on his last few games

I always thought he was one of our better players, but no doubt, he has been crap this season. Id have Watson starting over him all day
