I watched last nights game over breakfast this morning. I hadn’t seen the previous weeks incident either. Both had a similar mechanism of his head slamming back into the turf and a reasonable rate.
Last weeks would have raised some clear red flags about concussion risk to me and he should have been pulled from that game at that point.
Second impact syndrome is a real risk and can have very poor outcomes. I would like to think Tua is rested for several weeks now to allow full recovery.
One of the reasons I have given up on rugby is the lack of caring about head injury at the social level I was playing at. I had argued with refs and teams about not letting players carry on with head injuries during games only to be told ‘they said they are ok’.
And that is why Tua should not have been playing tonight. My prayers are with you
Absolutely appalling treatment by his team. After the way he got up from the previous hit only four days earlier (back injury my arse), there's no way he should have even been in sight of football field, let alone playing.
I've got family commitments on the South coast this weekend so unfortunately going up to London wasn't an option. Hope you guys who are attending have a fantastic time. Skol.
Really enjoyed the patriots game but got a lot of stick of my mates who follow nfl saying that’s basically following man united and there stadium isn’t all that will pick a nfc team to follow aswell so have 2 chances of making Super Bowl.
Am hoping to get over to Chicago next year so maybe the bears.
Currently sitting on the sofa watching eagles and jaguars

Probably don't pick da Bears if you want a chance of making a super bowl.

Patriots and United are a decent comparison to be fair!
What. A. Game. I was at the other end when the Saints had the field goal to tie it and looked like it was going all the way until the double doink off the post and bar and safe.
Argh just caught up on the Pats/Packers game, losing your backup QB so early and then having to rely on the 3rd string rookie for most of the game, away at Lambeau, and to take them to OT, I'll take it to be honest.
Anyone on here use NFL game pass? I want to pay the cost over four instalments which is a method they apparently offer, but I cant see that option when you try to sign up. Anyone know how it works?

Yeah I use it and do the same thing - you need to sign up before the start of the season I believe as the first instalment is taken in August and then every (or possibly other) month

Ah got it, looks like the instalments option disappears at the beginning of Oct. Just missed out!
