Honestly, we are absolutely hopeless. If I was TS and had sunk a few million into the club and had flown across the Atlantic to watch this I wouldnt be happy to put it mildly.
Apparently running a football club is easy & he's a successful businessman. I'm sure he has something up his sleeve (apart from his arm & a plectrum)
Missed most of the first half. Come on and see a couple of classic Gilbey moments. Nearly a goalscoring midfielder but so rarely has the touch, composure or finish needed to score or assist.
I'm not sure he's loved for his tweets, more those runs where he drives forward and beats an opponent (which usually then comes to nothing). Tony Watt was similar, was loved within minutes of his debut because he took players on.
Just feel bad for Gilbey at this point. He needs the summer.
I don't hold out much hope. He's had two bad seasons now.
Wasn't his statbank score last year 2nd bottom or something?
Yeah but we also had 12 months of when Gilbey and Maddison are fit the goals will start flying in, center backs, Adkins, Roddy and other assorted nonsense.
Paul Digby coming on for Cambridge, didnt we show interest in the summer?
Was linked yes.
How many has he scored?, would he have been good for us?
None - he's a defensive midfielder. Would've been competing with Dobson for playing time in this formation. Might've played alongside him in Adkins' 4231.
