    Lennon 6/4 fav now 🤦‍♂️
I am not bothered by his allegiances or which side of the sectarian divide he comes from, what does worry me is other than that first spell at Celtic he has been an angry failure.
    Exactly

I check the odds using https://www.bettingodds.com/thesackrace/teams/charlton-athletic, which shows Wm Hill and Bet Victor, Lennons odds are 7/1 and 5/1 respectively, with Warburton just favourite.

    I am extremely bothered.
I don't like or want him but his allegiances don't bother me, I would even accept Neil Harris if he was a decent manager.

Hopefully Lennon is only high in the odds because people have put money on him after the Cawley article.

I would rather have Pardew back than Lennon.

As a Charlton fan who follows Celtic I agree completely.

A new poster joined this week, posted that Lennon had been to games then disappeared.

Betting odds are not real life.

Wasn’t the rumour posted on here that Lennon’s mate was looking to pump in large amounts  of cash into Charlton ? I don’t believe either part of the rumour myself.

Wont be us as ee aren't "much higher up" the football pyramid than Wimbledon. Until a week ago we were about 10 places above them
We will be about 50 places above them when the league tables are in alphabetical order at the start of the season.

Would he be able to get a work permit now UK not in the EU?

Reading this, yes I know but it's the only source I could find, I think he could.  Laudrup however couldn't.
I just cashed out on Laudrup  :D

How much did you lose?  He was in my top 5 who I thought I would be.

Not seen Jon Dahl Tomasson mentioned.

Won the Swedish League in charge of Malmo the last two years

Why would he swap Champions League Football for League One - Although I'd still rate him higher than our Strikers

Appears he's left Malmö so might not too be daft , but would be very very left field.
Oh yes - He departed in December - Makes me feel better seeing them in third at the moment ;)
Yes he did leave, he resigned last Dec I think. I know for a fact he was being touted as coming to the UK to work, that's what I've contacted my mate about, because Jon mentioned to my mate about following him to his next role, wherever that was going to be.
Sorry @RedMidland, I didnt know whether to like your post or laugh.

When you posted the original comment about knowing someone at Malmo, I wasnt sure if you were on a wind up, similar to where we all pretend to have someone we know at another club in question - Found your Malmo connection so bizarre I couldn't be sure, but your latest post clearly suggests you do know someone :)
His carer works for Malmo. 😉

I'm going to make 2 predictions:

    1. It will not be any of the above.

    2. It will be someone I've never heard of.

Im Rangers by heritage due to a Scottish uncle but regardless of that Neil Lennon would be piss poor appointment. He succeeded in a Celtic team with talent but bar that, he has been terrible in literally every other job since.

I still think Warburton or Appleton would be good. Dont want Bowyer to even have a sniff but cant see it myself.

    Been wooshed then

He was 2nd favourite when Adkins got the job (not that that means anything as Adkins wasn't in the top 10).

Daniel Farke the ex Norwich Manager. He twice got Norwich promoted. He is my choice. I do not like Lennon at all.

Lennon is failing in Cyprus at the moment. Can’t see any sense in us being by interested.

Before the invasion of Ukraine he'd taken the managers job at Krasnodar, who are a top 6 side in Russia. Obviously he isn't there now but if he's getting job offers at that level, there's no way he'd drop into league one.
