Last week we were urged to consider attending the semi final.

Now, possibly just 3 days before the final is played, we have no idea about the venue or time.

I'm sure many of us would be interested in cheering on our Young Guns but the later we are informed of the details, the fewer will be able to attend....

    Hardly forward planning.
It's a pretty poor show from the communications department.
Is it asking too much, if nothing has been decided yet, to put a couple of lines on the OS stating date/venue is yet to be confirmed?
    They’ve posted it now.
Being played at the Blades training ground as their pitch has also been dug up.
It’ll be shown free on YouTube.

Shame for the players and those who would have liked to have attended.

I would've thought seriously about attending, but with such short notice it'll have to be youtube.

    Underwhelming to say the least.

What an insult to both teams and any supporters who would have liked to attend, the dragging of heels in making a decision is astounding, why couldn't it have been played at a neutral ground who haven't had their pitch dug up, total balls up!!

You had to spoil it didn’t you? I was hoping we could blame it all on TS.

I heard the FA wanted it at Sparrows Lane but Martin refused them

I wonder if there is any Cat 1 news.
Wasn’t Wednesday significant from the authorities?

Fans can still attend if they want. Sheff Utd posted saying entry is free.

    Ahh thanks for clarifying that.
Our post made it seem the only option was to watch it on YouTube.

Sadly, I don't think we'll be playing the final at the Valley.

I took the photo this afternoon.

Yeah, we are now a speedway club, would answer the why no manager yet scenario...😎

To be realistic, to arrange a neutral ground at such short notice with the staffing and other costs involved is a big ask.

    Fantastic  news !

Sadly, we have just managed to blag a couple of tickets for Saturday's Vanarama South Final for Dorking Wanderers v Ebbsfleet which is totally unexpected as it was sold out....but our son has somehow managed to obtain an extra 2 for us.

REALLY hope that this opportunity to support our Young Guns is taken up albeit at short notice.

Someone has listened to the fans & should be congratulated - please don't let them down.

Anywhere within 2 hours and I’d have gone but I can’t drive 4 hours each way on a weekend when I need to do stuff with my kids (karate and dance).  I’m gutted and this has been such a let down

im gutted because the boys would have loved to have fans there!

Can’t get Sheffield Utd on the phone?
Need to know the name and postcode of their training ground?
Are there any small stands with seating or will everyone be crowded around the pitch?
I was thinking of driving over……it’s not that far for me.

Yeah I can’t see many being keen on that journey. Shame it’s not at The Valley as I’d have loved to support the team

The semi finals were last Saturday. If Barnsley had beaten us it would have been an all Yorkshire final.

If Colchester had beaten Sheffield United it would have been possible to play the final there.

Not a lot of time to sort out where to play the game. The Sheffield Academy got chosen.

First thing I did of course. I thought it was at their training ground but it’s at their academy, which may actually be the same venue for all I know?
Just wanted to be sure J B.
    Cheers.
