    Because he oozes class.
  • Enjoyed that again. Really can’t wait to see how we match up against the teams in our league now.

The presence and skill to, rather than clear that through-ball out for a throw, twist his body and balletically volley it back to the keeper. Little things like that. Sheer class
  • Surely they'll continue this behind closed doors, like on Saturday. Seems daft to bring on 10 players for just 15 minutes

FT 2-4 Once again, rather like Saturday, this game turned round completely in our favour and  was a good training game, we have been in total control for large parts of tonight, good workout from all

  • Has this commentator had a couple at half time?
Yes mate on top of the six he had before ko 🤪
  • Really enjoyed that. Final 75 mins team didnt really have anything to do and was played out like a training match.

Positives: Leaburn had another good game. Held the ball up and linked the play well for the midfield. Got involved in a lot of nice build up. Morgan was shooting and getting involved in a lot of the play. Was trying to get things going for us even when 2-0 up. Deji looks very comfortable with the ball at his feet.
  • Lots more subs. I think everyone's on now. Back to the original keeper after giving the younger looking one about 15 minutes. 3-0 down from a penalty. 331 crowd.
  • We were losing, but we won.
    Good.

    Macca: 6 | Ness: 6 | Lavelle: 6 | Elerewe: 7 | Clayden: 5 | Morgan: 7 | Gilbey: 4 | DJ: 6 | Davison: 4 | Leaburn: 8 | Aneke: 6
  • Josh Davidson Ponytail looked pretty ineffective as the attacker on the right of the front 3. An interesting decision to play Aneke in midfield with Leaburn as the No 9

HMS Piss the League is getting ready to set sail
I am currently sailing on the good ship  "HMS about 8th but much better to watch" not quite as catchy is it.
Yeah I hope everyone takes my comment with the huge pinch of salt it requires.

Doing it on a warm Tuesday night @ Colchester or sunny afternoon in Dartford isnt the same as what we'll face nearly every week once the season starts - There is potential, but can it be fully unlocked, or will it be like the Mercedes W13 and leave us scratching our heads at times

45 minutes for everyone in Spain, 60 minutes for everyone at Dartford...

Stepping it up to 75 minutes for everyone tonight would mean playing 60 more minutes!

Suspect it's correct that the players that didn't start and get 75 minutes tonight will do so at the weekend against Sutton.
  • Dear God in heaven above!
You are far better than me if you stuck with that comms.
    WTAF?!?!
    Great result.
    Shame I couldn’t listen 🥺😞

    Dobson rested? Really?
Yes it's been a long hard pre season
Is it because he’s the first name on the team sheet, and they want to look at others? Or has he had a knock?
  • Was Elerewe 27? Couple of great touches from him tonight, if so.
  • We desperately need some reinforcements on the wing.

Wonderful feet and composure from Leaburn for his goal. Albie was a player reborn tonight, he's much better playing from deep and a ridiculous finish for his goal. Lavelle is 4th choice centre back for me. You could see Chuks visibly break in the first half, maybe not wise to send him back out for the second although he did well for our equaliser. Short corners are not the way especially with Inniss and Stockley on the pitch.

Overall an encouraging night other than the mysterious disappearance of Dobson.
