So, in the saga of the Andy Williams story, I was also telling my daughter how the AW show was on BBC2, which was being used to launch colour TV in the UK and that meant they had to broadcast on 625 lines and not 405 lines and it was the spare couple of lines at the top of the screen and the bottom of the screen that got used for teletext. Which would have been handy tonight for those without access to keep uptodate with the excitement of tonight’s game
