18: Blues go close! Gape wins it back off Charlton from a poor keeper clearance; he goes down but there's no foul. Wing collects it and the keeper saves from a tight angle. Wing then picks out McCleary, whose downward header is saved.

Attempt saved. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (Charlton Athletic) left footed shot from the right side of the box is saved in the centre of the goal. Assisted by Sean Clare.
I think this is always going to be the case with the way Garner wants to play and the players required for that, but when we're out of possession and have our backs against the ball, we look vulnerable. Fraser and Morgan are ball players but not ball winners. Clayden looks good going forward but he's still learning the fullback position. It's where O'Connell and especially Inniss really need to earn their corn. And also why it's important for us to press higher up so we don't end up defending in our final third.
Also, Wycombe's pressing is excellent. They're everywhere.

We lose this game 1-0 last season and get to watch a painful 75mins as 11-blokes in a red shirt pretend to be Footballers
Kirk Kirk crosses for Rak-Sakyi, who fakes with his left foot and smashes in with his right! GET IN!! #wwfc 1 #cafc 1
WTF referee... How is that not a foul on Morgan in the first instance
Wycombe player goes through him to get the ball
Could be at least Desmond already.

Dangerous free kick for Wycombe which I suspect Jacobsen to take.
