Nothing like following a team who were 1-0 up with a penalty to seal it with 10 minutes left, then end up losing 2-1 away against fourth tier opposition in front of 800 people. Happy days.
The club could have done with the boost from ANY win at the moment
Maybe - But I dont expect more than one or two to be starting Saturday regardless of the result... If they've been asking Garner why they haven't been playing more (e.g. CBT and Morgan completely dropped against Oxford), then this explains why.
I am sorry to say that this season isn’t quite living up to the bar I’d set for the team, and that was so low the world champion limbo dancer failed 3 attempts. Considering further lowering expectations to minimize disappointment, but might need a shovel.
We are such a soft touch. No leaders or hard men in the team. We'd struggle in div 2 with these wasters and that's where we are heading in the next couple of years.
More to the point, the reserves did not play as if they really cared about impressing enough to get in the first team. Payne and McGrandles the worst culprits along with CBT. I think we are in deep trouble as a club.

The rest of this squad is terrible.
Though McGrandles done okay and I'm not his biggest fan. Thomas looked tidy but faded massively hence the ease of there 2nd.
Youngings learnt a lesson tonight though in strength and shithousery.
Have to say I quite enjoy the funeral mood commentary of these games.
