That's why some of us thought it was a gamble worth paying for Chuks last season as he will score. If only we could get him on the field more often without his Swarovski body letting him down. Is that a goal every 25 minutes he's on the field this season ? Anyone done the maths for Chuks ?
Well done Ben Garner for taking the cups seriously and a Big shout out for Johnnie Jackson tonight for getting a 2-0 win against the top team Orient in League 2.
Tbh I think i would like a winnable home game next but anything other than away game against a championship team. If we get an away game make it City so we can see how they cope with not having loads of possession, garnerball will frustrate them 😂😂
The subs made a difference, but more importantly our attitude in the last 10 was better too, building up pressure which eventually tolled when cheat code did what he did on Saturday again.
JFC made a difference, more forward passing and a couple of excellent free kicks which started building the pressure on their defence.
The first 80 was unacceptable though, we should have been dead and buried by then, and it would have been a typically limp Charlton cup exit.
I remember playing them in this competition a few years ago and it mucked our season up while waiting for the game. And the game itself went all wrong.

Brentford 81% possession, 16 shots to 1 (that's total, not on target). Gillingham scored with their only shot.
My laptop would've gone out the window if I was playing Football Manager.
Never seem to do very well at their place but would feel confident at the Valley with a quarter final place at stake.
The teams I'd want to avoid are Burnley, Bournemouth, Lincoln and MK. Any of the other 11 possibles would be a good draw in my opinion.
Gills just beat Brentford on pens.
Another shitty team in the hat.
You have to win games to build momentum. All competitions.
That momentum is building.
