Billings probably wanted to use the time to find some form in a no pressure situation. Trouble is he still got out. I think, generally speaking, Denly and Linde will bowl most of the spin overs to sides that have right handers and Leaning will bowl more at left handers because they don't want batsmen hitting with the spin. In that game Denly and Linde returned excellent figures of 8-0-51-3 between them and Surrey's only left hander, Sam Curran, was out for just 10. Not bowling Leaning instead of Richardson might have been a mistake though the damage was actually done in his first three overs - his final one (the penultimate of the game) actually only went for 7.0 - Sponsored links:
