A sweetener for JRS moving, or they are so happy with his development they want to send us someone else?1
-
JRS looks happy and the team looks on a more positive trajectory. I suspect he might be staying.6
-
JRS wont have wanted to go anywhere before the Utd game. Unfortunately I can see him going afterwards2

The only way I can see us paying money for anybody is if we get money in for somebody, or somebodies.
I reckon the Manchester United Varney dividend is already earmarked for liabilities and debts.
So we are most likely to be in a weak position, looking at this, looking at that, and hoping something materialises. I reckon everybody on the football side knows what is needed, but it is likely to be who is available more than who do we want.0 -
Nicko says on twitter to expect no incomings until the takeover is sorted. I don't have access to his patreon or twitter account though so it's heresay.Perhaps players in will only replace players out at this time? If that's the case, don't expect any major improvements.....0

He also claims to have a pay walled story about us tomorrow.1

I would expect some hole plugging before any takeover is announced. A left back is a necessity.0

I only posted the Nixon thing as he is saying what seems sensible but not saying we aren't trying to do business. Basically without a takeover signings are unlikely but not definitely off the agenda.0

I think the Club has the right idea about what it needs in the transfer market BUT nobody fancies paying for it!Reminds me of those family trips to Harrods, Selfridges, etc!1

One week in and the only talk is about players leaving not joining.
Investment, what investment?0 -

We've got 3 keepers so Mac isn't needed. JFC barely played and Stockley has done nothing. When one of the main players leave it's more reason to be concerned but not the players who have been linked away.21 -
@cafcfan1990 if you think getting rid of three or four players currently with our injuries makes sense without getting replacements in at the same time or you know what, BEFORE we let players go then in my opinion that is suicide. The squad was light already.JFC, Stockley, Mac (played yesterday!), Kirk - despite their limitations will all be needed between now and May to keep us in this division if we don't get replacements. This is a tried and tested path we've been down before and why blind faith is installed I have no idea.
"Wait and see"
"It's only X days into the window"
This has been trotted out for the last 3 windows.
We have every right to be sceptical of our owner!4 -

It’s that we’re a paranoid fanbase after the years of chancers, special phones and all the other rubbish.
The word on the street was we’d be active in this window.
We’ve also heard that this the new takeover lot might be looking to slash costs.
So when you only see exits and no incomings (yes, just a week into the window), mixed with the paranoia from years of terrible ownership, the reaction understandably from some is ‘one week in and no signings, something’s not right’ and ‘investment, what investment?’We’re a damaged, untrusting bunch.
And who could blame us after the years of lies and neglect5 -
I think Bonne is signing but it will only happen when Stockley goes, if he does0
