  • My assessment so far.......

    Forwards not good enough

    No width

Defence still up for a mistake.

Delay in match because of an injury Ashley Maynard-Brewer (Charlton Athletic).

  • Double save from AMB gets Ness out of jail.
  • This is looking like one of those games of waiting for the inevitable goal in the against column, we are so lightweight up top, and getting overrun in midfield, Ashley keeping us in it single handed at the moment...nothing to note 0-0

  • 35' - CHANCE! Fuchs wins the ball back in midfield, Mason-Clark advances forward and slips in Poku, his effort is saved low by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, who then gets a strong hand on Ward's rebound.
  • Relieved that Maynard-Brewer doesnt have concussion (AGAIN!!) after that double save.

    Not yet at least
  • our manager doesn't look happy

Delay over. They are ready to continue.

Leaburn so far looks a shadow of the player he was pre injury. Pair that with Kane who doesn't look quite ready for men's football yet, we don't have much of an outlet up top
Not had many minutes since returning from months out. Patience. We have a well balanced squad with teenagers up front :-/

We looked very solid vs Brighton, but in that game we just setup to defend. Now there is onus on us to create again, we can’t do it and when we push forward you feel the defensive rickett is never far away.

  • Great turn Kanu to win that Free Kick

    He'll come good.
He will. But this season is too early. Typical Charlton having to force a kid in when they're not ready
  • Ooo decent Free Kick Scotty... Just the wrong side of the post
  • Close from Fraser with the free-kick, just wide

Foul by Kelland Watts (Peterborough United).

  • 40' A whisker away from Fraser... He send a left-footed free-kick agonisingly wide from just over 20 yards.

You obviously didn't see the spelling of the name I'd highlighted in the original post ...

    😉
  • Want to see more from Fraser. He does a lovely line in body swerves to find space and time on the ball but rarely does anything come from it. This is the kind of match you really need your playmaker to grab by the scruff of the neck. Posh are there for the taking. First goal wins this one imo.

Mitchell's brother from Croydon, sent off
    Wrong Mitchell... I think ;)

  • 44' Booking for Dobson... He's cautioned for handball.
  • Someone needs to put that feral pigeon out of it misery
  • 45' - Three minutes of additional time at the end of the first half.
