  • Perhaps if the opposition name 2 double-barrelled surnames then we have to leave ours on the bench  😅😅😅
  • 3-5-2  ?
  • 3-5-2  ?
    You would think so
  • 🔴 Two changes for the Addicks
🔴 Full league debut for Kanu
    🔴 Clare returns following suspension
🔴 Morgan misses out with illness

  • Under 21s fixture today then is it?
  • he loves a 3 at the back. One of the reasons he lost his job at Birstol apparently.

Our centre backs aren’t good enough to be playing as a two so at least he’s figured that out quickly. 👍
  • Good to see Ness getting another chance I've been impressed by him
  • canna not believe it. Is Chucks injured??
He pulled his hamstring against Brighton!
  • Interesting line up, I really don't rate Stockley so I don't mind it
  • Kids in shop window for TS to pay for the 6 week contracts of 'experienced professionals'.

    ffs
  • Gone for pace up front then. Not sure Kanu is quite their yet but good to see him get a chance at least. Gutted not going to be able to see how he gets on.

Is it a decision he's made based on our players if he plays the formation at every club?
  • Said at the very start of the season I felt Kanu had a part to play this year.
    Looks like it's here.
Why Garner never had a closer look at him was a mystery, especially when you consider the bilge he had available
  • Love that team, fair play to the new gaffer… bold selection
  • Another switch in formation, and playing style, without the squad depth to really accommodate it.

Hope is we can pick up some bonus points between now and January and then get in the right players.

In his last ten league games in charge at Bristol, he played a back three twice. Other eight times he played a back four.

fair enough. Did no research was only going by fans on their forum.

It’s the only formation we can play .
  • @soapboxsam gets his wish with Kanu.
  • Very brave decision... Not just to play Kanu (who I'll come to in a second), but the fact we're playing none of our wide players either, part of our play this season has been reliant on the pace of Rak-Sakyi or Blackett-Taylor, its not worked this season so its not like none of them have done anything to avoid being dropped... Its why I say good luck to Rak-Sakyi if Palace recalled him, as he's done nothing overly special so far to be playing further up the EFL.

Now for Kanu, its brave from Holden...

He's looked a fish out of water when he's previously played for us, and will always root for him, but at times he's looked very Karlan Grantesque where he's been thrown in too early - However he has continued his goalscoring form of late, so deserves the occasional chance, else how will we ever know if he's truly ready or not... Playing alongside Leaburn could be a stroke of genius for him.
