Watched the full match replay on Charlton TV having not watched it live.
I thought MKD’s Jules looked decent, as did Leko on the night.
We had a very good spell in the second half where, for a change, our midfield dominated. Some good possession, and quick passing seemed to bamboozle MK. The back four (and their subs) had good games.
Payne’s recovered from his sending off with probably his best performance in a Charlton shirt.
Hector showed the Ipswich game was a blip, hopefully.
MK threw everyone forward for the last 8 or 9 minutes leading to the usual nail biting, which shows what happens if you don’t take your chances. We should have been two up by then. Some good defensive headers and some blocks helped us hang on to the three points.
