  • What a strike
  • Unbelievable

Good old long ball from the keeper and a flick on

    Cracking finish that.

Knew City would be looking to kill this off early to rest players for the CL but blimey.
  • 13 seconds … Jim Melrose time
  • "Keep it tight early doors...."
  • Bucket hats galore in the Utd end

  • Since City have been going longer to Haaland they have got even better but he has stopped scoring.  Funny old game.
  • City must want to keep Gundagan (sp) surely? Great goal!
  • Ref’s had an iffy start. Casemiro’s tackle given the wrong way, blatant Man U corner given as goal kick and the foul given to Haaland when he slipped over.

Hope he grows into the game, but not looking brilliant so far.

  • Pen surely.
  • Can't raise your hands like that. Has to be a pen.
  • Can't be often both captains have scored in the first half of a cup final?
  • Yup thats a penalty
  • Game needed that.

  • Bruno Bruno Bruno

He comes from Sporting like Cristiano.

He goes left, he goes right

    Makes defenders look shite

    He's our Portuguese mafioso!!
  • That Steve McClaren lookalike popping up every big game is hilarious.

  • That ridiculous penalty is why I hate the handball rule and VAR. What the hell was Grealish meant to do with his arms when he jumps?

If the ref gives that as a pen, VAR are not ruling it out. Stupid situation.
  • Officials doing their best to help Man Utd make this a contest.
  • Back to basics. The handball law was introduced at the very outset of Association Football to stop players deliberately using their hands guide the ball. The modern interpretation is absolute bollocks.
  • Yeah.  glad he doesn't  play for us.

    Amen!

Same with the offside law. Drawing lines and making calls when theres millimetres in it is just mental.
  • Been an interesting one for VAR. Casemiro's challenge could have been a red, the handball might have been letter of the law but it didn't affect the flight of the ball at all, which was going nowhere. Then no pen for De Bruyne off what looked like a foul from Fred. Delighted that we will get to spend halftime discussing that instead of the actual football.
  • Terrible dive from Grealish there, makes me happy he got the handball against him!
