  • Haha! Chelsea are such toilet. Even when they’re in absolute control of a game, they make a balls up, give the oppo a chance and fall to pieces. Now there only looks like one winner. And it ain’t Chelsea.

That’s a cracking penalty in the Sheff U v Man U game. Unstoppable.
  • Shame Liverpool just got that penalty...

Correct call you wont get a more blatant handball all season, VAR did well. But did wonder if Poulsen deliberately ignored it at first, after failing to give Konate a second booking.

Been a shite Merseyside derby so far; Pickford has been picking daisies
Anyone know why they kept calling him Mohammed?

Salah, he's always been Mo, now there's trouble in Israel between Jews and Muslims he's Mohammed again

Maybe he has asked to be called that like Andy/Andrew Cole

    Because its his name?

He's always been known as Mohamed or Mo. With his friends and family it's normally Mohamed, but we love to shorten names in this country so people like to call him Mo, which is fine with him.

Nothing to do with Jews, Muslims or Israel.

My comment is very firmly tongue in cheek Offy, just pointing out one thing that's being insinuated in the wider media currently, it's 2001 all over again where just being Muslim makes you a terrorist in some people's eyes
  • Can they both lose please

    Rak-Sakyi coming on for Palace.
  • How many times did the VAR want to play that "handball" incident back? What a joke.
  • How on earth is that not a handball?
  • Why is Carragher trying to justify it by saying it's a great strike? If it's rolled down his arm it's handball. The shot where it hits his chest, then deflects again near his arm is conclusive for me, but whatever. Like it was said earlier shame they both can't lose this

Pathetic that, 'I hope they give it because it was a fantastic finish', oh well that's ok then, you can handle anything if you then punt it in with some style.
  • Thats VAR influenced by the Liverpool game the other week.  Every man, woman and child can see that rolled down his bloody arm.

Only 14pts required to avoid relegation now :)
  • Looking at the bottom three I reckon you're safe already
  • Can Spurs 'do a Leicester'?

Obviously they aren't anywhere near as unfancied as Leicester were, but they have no European football so only have to cope with 1 game per week. They don't have a squad to rival City, Arsenal and Liverpool but if they can keep their main group of players fit then they've got a great chance.

Those other 3 clubs are probably looking at playing 15-20 more games than Spurs this season.
  • No, the lack of a top striker will hurt them in the long run, especially if Son gets a couple of knocks.

Hence why i said if they can keep their main group fit. If they lose Son and/or Maddison for any length of time then they won't have much of a chance.
  • Yes but even if they keep them all fit they don't have the strength in depth to make the difference. There will be a spell where Son and Maddison aren't firing and they don't have the options to change it up and make an impact in my opinion.

Also Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City all have much better squads than what Leicester faced, and that will help them keep pace with Spurs throughout the season
  • Oh dear never mind, Chelsea lose again. Couldn't happen to a nicer Club. Wankers.
  • In the last seven months, Brentford have won twice as many Premier League games at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea have.
  • Bournemouth win the 6 pointer against Burnley. There must be pressure on Kompany to find a plan b, as at the moment all 3 promoted clubs are looking like the relegation favourites.
  • Pedro Neto has been absolutely quality in every game I’ve seen him play this season.
Always been a good player but he’s stepped up a level this season.
  • Not a pen.

  • What the fuck is the point of VAR if it doesn't do  what is necessary to overturn that penalty decision.
    Appalling.
  • VAR manages to f*ck up in ways we'd never even thought of!
  • Remember, "CLEAR AND OBVIOUS".
