Spurs, until about 10 mins ago, were getting absolutely pumped by Brighton
Really not a surprise with playing 4 full backs in defence with at least 5 guaranteed 1st choice starters in Romero, vdV, Bentancur, Bissouma, Maddison all missing through injury.

5 of the 9 subs were youth team players.
Need Levy to open the cheque book on 1st Jan.
Spurs had enough chances in the last few minutes to win it. Great game.
Billion pound sport but can't handle goal-line technology across the entire line.
Madness.
But goal line technology is only to determine if the ball is over the line between the posts or not - ie if it's a goal.
It's not there to determine if the ball goes out for a throw or goal kick / corner.
But it is the same line, just stretched out further.
It's not difficult to simply use that technology for every outside line of the pitch.
They manage perfectly fine in both Cricket and Tennis to do the same.
So you want to use VAR to determine if the ball is in or out of play all across the pitch?
Why? Don't you think there are enough stoppages and delays as it is already?
Do you not understand how goal-line technology works?
It's a simple beep on the ref's watch. Stick a chip in the ball and the ref would know exactly when a ball has gone out of play and where instantly.
They were already looking at the ball going out of play using VAR anyway (and couldn't see anything even after taking several minutes) so I really don't know what you're on about.
But the goal line technology works because the tech is in the posts, so it can determine if it crossed the line within those confines.
You'd need to erect posts along all the sidelines and touchlines to hold the tech to work out if it was in or out.
Tennis is a far smaller court and cricket is used in a tiny area, an entire football pitch is a lot to cover
Or just have a chip in the ball and measure the centre of the ball going outside of the pitch for more than half the ball's width. It's really not that difficult.
You have technology that maps a player's movement across the entire pitch, but you can't do the same with the ball?
And what determines where the pitch lines are cleverclogs? It's in the goalposts currently, or is that something you can't comprehend? Again, the pitch is too big an area for the technology to be utilised currently.
Anyway, as an Arsenal fan, what's the excuse for the second goal? Ex players shouldn't be allowed to play against you?
Yawn, yet again missing the point entirely.
You don't need a camera when you have a chip. It is being tracked and the lines can just be measured and mapped out before the game even takes place.
Failing that actually use the corner flags for something other than decoration.
Again, you're missing the point actually.
Every football pitch is a slightly different size and shape. The technology with the chip doesn't work without the sensors in the goalposts (not cameras) and the sensors aren't strong enough to cover the entire sideline from one corner flag to another, hence the need for more posts along the sidelines, periodically, to house the sensors.
Then again, as an Arsenal fan I'm not surprised you don't get the points at the crucial moment.

You're acting as if you need physical cameras across the line to map the ball. You do not.
If you place sensors under the fake grass on the lines of the pitch at the start of the season the job is done. Yes, in every stadium so you can factor the different sizes. The ball can be tracked using a chip, not like the current goal-line technology.
The technology is possible, but instead we rely on random camera angles and replays where obviously the players are near the ball so obviously are going to block it.
We had a very controversial goal against us at Barnsley, where nobody knew 100% whether it had gone over the line or not. The perfect place for technology, as it's a a factual decision, which isn't the case with handballs and tackles, the way the rules are written.
Beautiful, both the north London cuntfest of teams lose, unfortunately the thieving east end slags had to be victors but anything that stops cunteta and the cuntettes winning the league is a good thing .
West Ham deserve the 3 points anyway, defended brilliantly all game.
Coming from a family of Hammers this was one of those games where you want both teams to lose. But Moyes did hand out a bit of a spanking to Arteta and his players defended like demons from start to finish and were well worth the 3 points.
For all their possession Arsenal had barely a decent chance. When they're good, they're good, but sometimes you just have to get stuck in and mix it up physically. Not exactly insightful I know but they need a top quality target man to bully defences when the pretty stuff's not working.
Spurs deservedly beaten last night (it could easily have been 8 or 9 if they'd taken their chances!) but yet again more refereeing inconsistency.
Against Chelsea, Romero gets sent off for following through when he won the ball. Dunk does it last night and whacks Kulusevski and he just gets a yellow. If thats was Romero, he gets a red.
Lost count of the number of shirt pulls we've had on our players in the box over the last 3-4 seasons with no penalties given. Of course, Kulu gets pulled for it last night. No issues with the decision to award the penalty, it was a blatant as it gets but again, consistency is the issue.

What we need are chips and sensors in the players feet, hands and shirts so a computer can accurately tell if someone made contact with with another player and, using the chip in the ball, exactly where the ball was at the time. All with pinpoint accuracy.
Maybe then we could move onto sensors in the brain so a team of specialists could look at the brain wave activity and accurately gauge what an individual players thoughts were at the time of any given incident, to determine if something was deliberate or just accidental.
I mean, a game would take 5 hours to complete, but the opportunities for ad breaks and merch sales would go up, so more money in the kitty to pay the players.
That Dunk freeze frame doesn’t show the whole picture tho. Clearly went to kick the ball and it looks far far worse than it was. No doubt a sore one but no intention there at all for me.
Palace winning caps the gloom on here. Brentford are right out of form at the moment, it'll be interesting what they do with Toney. Cash in to strengthen the team, or keep him to fire them to safety. They've got injury problems and will lose key players to AFCON too
watching Forest v Man U .. haven't a clue who the majority of the Forest players are, and M U in their black and white kit look like Grimsby .. on a bad day lol

What makes it even worse is that Ten Hag actually managed him at Ajax and still decided to sign him. He's too lightweight, can't beat a man and can't use his right foot at all.
Not having a right foot isn't a major issue, as Mahrez proved, but i don't know why Antony doesn't come inside and get crosses or shots in. Maybe he's just lacking in confidence but right now he's awful.
United have paid 160m for 2 right wingers, one is sat at home and the other does nothing.
The Arsenal annual melt has come surprisingly early.
Given Spurs havent been able to pick a first choice XI all season and we've been decimated since Chelsea, I'll take being 1pt behind and only 4 off top given we'd all written off this season as a transitional season before it had started.
Never known an injury crisis like our current one.

"Former Premier League referee Clattenburg claimed that a chip should be put in the ball in order to provide clarity in future situations. "

Guess it was 73rd time lucky!

am sure there were probably several outrageous decisions that went Fulham’s way that led to Arsenal’s defeat
