Casimero very lucky not to be sent off!! - Good thing it werent the Bolton referee for yesterday, would have been nice had he given players the benefit of the doubt a few times.
The Elite Premier league is where it wants to be: Burnley hit 101 points to win Championship last season yet have been totally out of their depth in 23/24. Sheffield United also totally outclassed. Luton are at least making a good fist of trying to stay in the Premier but if it wasn't for Everton's 10 point deduction then Luton are 4 points adrift in 18th relegation spot.
Money goes to money and Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton had next to no chance of staying up last September 1st.
The gap is getting larger and only Palace may give Luton or Everton a chance of staying up if their 3 quality players Eze, Olise and Guéhi miss most of the business end of season.
Luton are making a decent attempt to stay up, whereas Burnley has been massively disappointing. Not only defensively worse than Burnley, they've also scored a lot fewer goals.
The "pure" style of football works brilliantly if your players are very good in relation to the rest of the division, but when up against better opposition, something more pragmatic is needed.

Classic case of a tackle that should and would get a yellow card if he wasn’t already on one. This absolutely infuriates me and it happens all the time.
If it’s a yellow, give him a yellow. If it means he’s off, tough shit.
Regardless of which teams are involved, that decision might affect the outcome of the game and it’s just wrong.
14 league matches and Hojlund just couldn't find the target in the Premier league; suddenly he scores and now has 7 goals in 6 matches. To succeed at United you need a strong personality plus skill and Hojlund who was only 21 early this month could be having a long stay.
What the fuck is Neville watching? After an incorrect offside flag, he claimed the ball was played by a Luton player, then we see clearly that it wasn’t and he says nothing.
After that first ten minutes it felt like Man U were going to take Luton to pieces, but they’ve been ordinary at best since then. And should be a man down too.
Hate Luton. Nasty shitty little club with a nasty shitty little ground in a nasty shitty little town.
Every time I hear commentators try to romanticise the place and refer to "The Kenny" it makes me want to vomit.
Hope they get relegated.
Yeh, I'm with you. Still carry a king size grudge that they got Walsh and Elliott for knock down prices, when it was obvious they were both destined for a big club. Then there was that fat, curb-crawling egotist getting on my tits on TV. (Yeh, I probably need to grow up and get over it)
Another great effort from Luton yesterday, nothing but admiration for the way they go about things. If we had half of that at out club things would be very different.
Jesse Marsch before the game broke down the Glasner (new managers) preference for a 343/523 formation, how it works and how he has used it at previous clubs. Palace have done exactly that in the first half.
I just can't see Luton winning enough to overtake Palace unfortunately
My bias allowed, hopefully a team not in the relegation zone all season can creep in. Their new appointment has f*** all experience with this level, it works for me.

Needed a celebratory beer before Botafogo PB v Nacional tonight.
