I know we talk about this every Sunday, but I’m genuinely at the point where I think I would rather just listen to the crowd noise than Sky’s commentary.
Absolutely this. Drury is almost impossible to listen to.

City will win the lot again. We laugh at the Scottish Prem but at least they have the Rangers or Celtic question.

I would rather Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs over the fake big club every once in a while.
    Anyone but Liverpool.
    Or Arsenal

How on earth did that finish 1-1?

City were toilet that second half, yet still could’ve nicked it with Doku’s effort.

Do we think that should have been a penalty at the end or not ?

I can't stand Liverpool, but I thought that was a pen.

Amen to that. Palace aside, never hated a team more.

Celtic have won 11 titles in the last 12 years? Yes I think City will probably win it but it’s incredibly close this year
It’s close now, I’m not so sure it will be at the end of the season.
1 point separating 3 teams. I think it's quite likely to be very close and possibly even go to the last game.

Still can't see past City winning it. Which is incredibly boring

I really hope you’re right, but I still expect City to win it fairly comfortably.

Why are you both so certain City will win it? There's 10 games to go and they are not top and they're not actually playing that well.

In the last month they've struggled past Everton, Brentford and Bournemouth, and they have failed to win any of their games against the other sides in the top 5.

Liverpool are getting players back from injury and are riding the wave of Klopp's last few games. Arsenal won't collapse like last season as they're more experienced, Saliba isn't injured and they've got Declan Rice.

I'm not saying City won't win it, as you can't bet against a team with their record but this season just feels different.

Look at the table , 1 point 3 teams ten games to go , what more could you want , of course other teams but it doesn’t work like that unfortunately.
City are 13/10 to win it

I don’t mind City because it stops the scousers or gooners
Of course it’s filth the way they’ve bought it but come on they’ve always been a big ish club 48k at Maine Road May 1985 when football was nowhere near as fashionable as now to see them promoted to the top flight against Charlton, any of the 200 of us up there that day wouldn’t have failed to be impressed it was mental .
in the third tier they averaged 28k of fans in 98/99 .

i don’t know any City fans so that’s a bonus
the chirping if the scousers win will be easier  to take than if the gooners win , a fellow London club whose fans will pipe up and you can feel it , fuck tHem , I remember getting loads of shit off gooner cnuts at school when we were nearly going out of business .
i (most probably through fear of living through an arsenal title winning team again ) don’t think City will win it , they’re not as consistent as previous and I think winning the Champions League meant soooo much to them that when they won it something died inside them and has taken an edge off them that they previously had .
obviously in an ideal world it would be villa or Leicester winning it or whoever but no way fuck all London clubs I want them all to suffer and do shit and us to rise from the ashes and have total world domination and become a behemoth of a club

Well FFP has killed any hopes of another club doing what Chelsea and City have done.

Even Newcastle are looking like they need to sell before they can buy now and their owners have got hundreds of billions.

I think Liverpool will win as they have the easiest run in. I can't see them dropping any points tbh. Scouse wankers.

Will be a hell of a run in for Leicester to win it.

Is there normally a three week period at this time of year when there’s hardly any Premier League matches? Feels a bit odd, but maybe it happens every season and I just didn’t realise.

Next weekend is the FA Cup... following week there is an International break

Fair play to the Dippers, even with a patched up side, they made City look pretty ordinary for the most part.

Anyway, enough of the love in of the top 3.
Performance of the weekend in the PL by a country mile was Spurs' dismantling of Aston Villa.
Pape Matar Sarr is the second coming of Patrick Vieira.  And he's only 21.

No I know, but does this normally happen? Feels like a weird thing to do just when the league is approaching its climax to basically kill the momentum for a cup weekend and then  international friendlies.

Liverpool playing in the Europa League means disruptive Thursday games, but far easier games where they can rotate far more than either City or Arsenal can. Indeed Arsenal's best way of winning the title might be to lose tomorrow against Porto, and stay fresher for the PL run in.

I’ve only turned the Chelsea Newcastle game on 5 minutes ago. Is it me or are the Chelsea crowd really quiet? Even before the equaliser it sounded like Newcastle were the home team.

If Palmer keeps playing like this he will be on the plane for the Euros.

Foden, Saka, Palmer, Maddison are 4 brilliant options to be floating around Kane.

    Not to mention Bells.
  • Luton 3-0 up at HT away to Bournemouth.

Puts Forest into the bottom 3 as things stand and has Everton and Brentford looking very nervously over their shoulders.

Wow what a dream half for Luton. A game they would have targeted as a possible 3 points, and they're cruising it.
