Also looking at the Forest points deduction i wonder if there's other clubs (yes Newcastle i'm looking at you) thinking 'fuck this let's just spend'.
Forest's FFP failure was about as blatant as you can get, sign about 25 players and sell hardly anyone and they've only lost 4 points.
I'm sure they won't but if i'm Newcastle i'm thinking let's just spend big this summer to improve the squad and take our chances with FFP further down the road.

I've always wondered why clubs didnt do this. A 4 or even 6 point deduction isn't going to harm Newcastle. And if it meant next season they were top 4 even with a 4 point deductio then the CL money would make it all worthwhile.

It's getting to the point where if the punishment for Man City isn't absolutely monumental then there's going to be uproar
There will definitely be uproar because i fully expect them to get off the vast majority of the charges, if not all. For a start some of the charges are the same charge repeated, it's not 115 completely separate charges. So if they're innocent of 1 it takes away a group of charges.
In a case so serious the onus will be on the Premier league to prove beyond reasonable doubt that City are guilty of certain offences, and i can see City's very expensive lawyers putting up a strong defence and they'll get off most charges on technicalities.
I'm sure we all suspect they're probably guilty of something but people talking about relegating them i think are way off. They'll probably either end up exonerated or with a minor points deduction and fine.
I can see them getting clean away with it. The likes of Forest and Everton are easy pickings for the PL, City are a different kettle of fish and they won’t want to upset them.
The stuff with City is why I can’t understand the negativity towards Arsenal / Liverpool / Utd / Spurs.
its sickening seeing a team I liken to Villa (at best) or Sheff Weds cheating their way to winning every single year. It’s boring and it’s based on cheating. Same with Chelsea trying to buy their way above their station.
I got bored of Utd winning every year, and I’m sure fans in the 80s and 00s think the same of Liverpool and Arsenal.
But this run from City is a load of shite and they need to remember who beat them to the Championship title in 2000 and get back in their lower prem box

They could bring in a rule that if your finances aren't in order then you can't play in Europe.

I get your point but if Chelsea and City hadn't had the investment then for many years the premier league would've turned into the SPL.
From 1996 to 2013 every single title would've been won by United or Arsenal, with United winning 8 in a row from 06-13.
In the last 10 years though it would've been a lot better, Liverpool, Arsenal, Leicester, Spurs, United, Liverpool, Liverpool, United, Liverpool, Arsenal.

What money do they get from Charlton Life?
My Source told me Forever Addickted got a packet of Jammy Dodgers from AFKA.
Mainoo has been called up to the Senior England squad after initially being selected for the U21s - Thats what a debut for or against Charlton will do for your career.
P.S. I cant speak about the Jammy Dodgers, might break my NDA

Looks like Chelsea could be in more trouble. In addition to the threat of failing FFP, it's now alleged there were secret off the books payments to players agents.
Tonali is on a 10-month ban for betting while at a previous club and now has been charged by FA for 50 further betting misconducts last year at Newcastle!
What planet is football currently on where that is a penalty??
Joke decision
Not sure I necessarily agree with the decision, but I’ve seen much worse penalty decisions than that. There’s no doubt Phillips kicked Gordon’s ankle after all.
