  • That's the saddest sword-twirl ever seen, lol

Was excellent wasn't it  :D Rohit throwing his cap on the floor was good value too!
  • 326-5 off 86 overs (so much for England trying to get through their overs) at stumps. India's match to date but things could rapidly change if we get a few quick breakthroughs in the morning.

Set the alarm for 4am and when we thought Rohit was out early doors, we thought we had them on the ropes until it appeared he had the faintest of inside edges and wasn't out LBW. They would've been 4 down for less than 50 and the rest is history with that mammoth partnership.

326 for 5 and the best home team in World cricket are back in the Groove even without a few of their super stars.
  • 331-6

    Kuldeep 4 (24) c Foakes b Anderson

Good delivery from Jimmy and the night watchman nicks off to the keeper.
  • 331-7

    Jadeja 112 (225) c & b Root

Lovely bowling from Root this morning and he’s rewarded with the big wicket.
  • First hour done. 353-7

14 overs in the session so far and India 27-2 through that period. Finding runs hard to come by.
  • India give up five penalty runs due to continued running on the wicket. They were given a final warning about it yesterday.
  • 388-7 at lunch. England disappointed not to pick up at least one more wicket after another good start to a day.

62-2 off 27 overs in the session.

    Jurel 31 (71)
    Ashwin 25 (64)
  • Jurel dropped by Pope on 32.

    408-8

    Ashwin 37 (89) c Anderson b Rehan Ahmed

Jimmy tried dropping that one too. Catching practice badly needed in the England camp…

Breaks a very useful Indian partnership of 77 though and brings Bumrah to the crease. Hoping the next two wickets won’t be far behind. Got to keep them below 450 at worst.

    415-9

    Jurel 46 (104) c Foakes b Rehan Ahmed

World class wicket keeping to make sure that stayed in the gloves…
  • Now that was a great catch by Foakes - massive edge and deflection.
  • Hopefully we can wrap this up soon so I can get some sleep..!
  • …or Bumrah can start hitting boundaries…
  • They could declare  we’re not sniffing 400

    Please be out

Oh god he’s hit that FFS
  • They could declare  we’re not sniffing 400

    That’s the spirit!
  • The good news is that once we do eventually bowl them out we will start on 5-0 courtesy of the Indian batsmen running from stump to stump. The bad news is that the likes of Jadeja and Ashwin will be more than happy to take that five run hit!

  • Hahaha unlucky Siraj. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke ✊🏼💦
  • I would be surprised if Siraj takes much more of a part in the England innings
  • This should be retired hurt now. Wasting so much time
  • If this is overturned I give up
  • Yay!!!

    445 all out

    Bumrah 26 (28) lbw b Wood
  • Yay!!!

    445 all out

    Bumrah 26 (28) lbw b Wood
    Sleep tight!
  • England start on 5/0 after being given penalty runs. First ball from Bumrah is a no ball. So 6/0 off no deliveries.

    Bazball eat your heart out.
  • I would be surprised if Siraj takes much more of a part in the England innings
And he takes the new ball. Quicker recovery than Lazarus!!!

    He’s a monumental bellend
  • The period to tea successfully negotiated by our openers to tea

    31-0 off 6 overs

    Crawley 6* (15)
    Duckett 19* (22)
