  • Bolton have a bid for Joel Randall rejected by Peterborough.
  • Tyreeq Bakinson has joined Wycombe from Sheffield Wednesday.
  • Mike Eerdhuijzen heading to Birmingham for 2 million. A centre back from Sparta Rotterdam.
  • He played for a team that finished 7 points off of European qualification in the Dutch top flight. Birmingham are shopping at totally different level to us.

The keeper, May and Marc Leonard all very good signings, know nothing of the CH so can’t comment, but they are shopping as you say a level or more above us.
  • Also seen them linked with Scott Twine. Can’t see that one happening though.
  • Marc Leonard is such a good signing, they're completely taking the piss. Shows who the big spenders really are.

If their manager can get them clicking they'll walk this league.

That would truly be ridiculous. Twine at this level would be 10-15 goals from No10 easily. Would have thought plenty of championship sides would still want him.

  • Blimey, Rovers have gone from 0-7 signings very quickly.
  • Marc Leonard is such a good signing, they're completely taking the piss. Shows who the big spenders really are.

If their manager can get them clicking they'll walk this league.
All feels very risky to me though. If they've spent all that money and their manager turns out to be rubbish it will turn very ugly, very quickly.

Seen the fee reported in some places as 300k + add ons, so seems a pretty sensible buy rather than throwing tons of money at it.

The 2m centre back however is another story entirely.
  • Lincoln have signed Striker Rob Street from Cheltenham for an undisclosed fee. Street scored 2 in 22 league games last season.
  • Exeter have signed Striker Jay Bird from Arbroath on a free transfer. Bird scored 10 in 40 last season.

It is risky, but you're far more likely to get promoted in this league by being ambitious, than being tight.

If it goes wrong, they'll just sack their manager like Ipswich, find the right person for the squad and they'll get it done. Birmingham are a good move for any manager at this level atm as they've clearly got money, and seem to be ambitious.

Another good signing in this league. Always rated Kane and surprised one of the newly promoted champ sides haven't taken a punt on him tbh. Tidy player on the ball.

I agree, just wonder how long it takes before a revolt and how many of those players stick around if they don’t go straight back up.

I mentioned him a while back, a classy defender (for the lower leagues), would've liked him to have come to us .. another good signing for money bags Wetsam
  • And then there was one.

Northampton have signed Striker James Wilson on a free from Port Vale.

Reading are now the only league one side with no new signings.

  • 9 signings yesterday takes us up to 99. The question is who will be signing number 100 and will they be a Godden?

Northampton also signed their first player leaving just Reading without a new signing. Over half the league now have 4+ signings after yesterday's deals. However it's all gone quiet for Burton and Rotherham, with Stockport slowly closing the gap on the top 2. Will Steve Evans remember where his wallet is today, or maybe Bristol Rovers sudden spending spree will continue.
