  • Are the Gillingham owners their equivalent of TS?. American with high ambitions and so far a load of shite players and a merry go round of managers.

3-0 win at Gillingham tonight, in a very crowded upper mid table in L1, unbeaten in 12 and just 3 points off the playoffs.
And a game at last for Deji Elewere.
    Has he been injured?
    No he's been Elsewhere.

Another local derby next season assuming we don't get promoted.

Also AFCW in second place at the moment.

A plethora of derby games what with MIllwall getting relegated.

And Palace being relegated two divisions for financial shenanigans, we live in hope on that one.

Any chance of getting rid of this thread as well @aliwibble too depressing that we might be in the same league as this lot from Kent with a huge Surrey backing from palace.

Edit: even though I reside in deep dark Kent. Well, borough green that is.

I really hope that Deji Elerewe can stay fit after a long time out and great to see him start a match after so long out.
Having known the coach that coached him from an under 10 and helped him connect with CAFC at 13, I hope his career can kick on at 21 after stalling over the last 2 seasons.

Ten years until we lose tenancy of The Valley.

What are the possibilities of expansion of Hayes Lane?

A groundshare is not a far fetched idea. We could even be the country’s first EFL merger. :'(

A new stand is planned with work starting before the end of the season. Some season ticket holders are having to move.

The end of the current deal for the Valley does not mean needing a new ground.

Bromley are the only league club in the country in a Tory constituency apparently.

Why do you find it so hard to not hijack threads?

The truth is you’ve been asked countless times not to bring politics to this forum but you just can’t help yourself. Sad really.

So when others mention the knighthood of Sadiq Khan are they bringing politics to this forum?

The thing about Bromley, or the side step into Sadiq Khan territory?

On BBC Radio 4 there was a recent broadcast of Paul Sinha’s Perfect Pub Quiz where the uniqueness of Bromley FC’s circumstances was mentioned.
It stuck in my mind which is why I mentioned it on a thread about Bromley FC.

That was a defence against a stupid accusation that I was hijacking this topic with politics. I pointed out how often, and how many others bring politics onto the main forum.  If it is a question that I simply cannot help myself, then in the name of equality maybe @DaveMehmet could say the same to others too.
I realise that simply by posting this comment the usual people will accuse me of playing the victim or attention seeking. They would be wrong and I couldn’t care less what certain people accuse me of anyway.

You've brought the Bromley being Tory comment in so many times. So repetitive.

Why not try and have a new years resolution to not bore the bollocks off of everyone.

    The worst kind of bore.

I also find your comments repetitive... and boring

While we are here digging people out for pretty much nothing.

Edit: should have read "semi-frequent political comments"

Once the 20 man pile on starts, it's impossible to get out of even if you are right. When that happens, i wave goodbye to the chat. It's not losing face, it's just not wasting seconds, minutes, hours or days of your life when no one gains anything.

On Seths defence, he didn't make a subjectional opinion about the Torys. I'm sure if it was said by an alternative poster there would be no issue.

Shall we all just move on and not make a big deal. Charlton are looking ok for the first time in ages, let's turn our attention to that.
