    I’m not sure who out of France and England are the luckiest to be in the semi-finals, but both still finding a way to get it done.

    Southgate and the players will likely see that as vindication but fuck it’s been a tough watch again.

    Reckon that might not be the last penalty shoot out we see from England this tournament so have to take some confidence from how well the 5 takers handled that.

    Fair play to Saka too, not only stepped up but took basically the same penalty he missed vs Italy.

    Genuinely didn't think the Swiss did much more than we did. Although our one shot on target in 120 minutes should really wake Southgate up.

    Lucky as hell to be in the semi but you have to say that was some set of penalties.  No nervous nancies there. Just big bollox and job done.

    It's boring, but it's working. If we don't win the whole damn tournament he has to go. 

    Saying that, subs were on point and I think we have a great set of penalty takers.

    I would never hope one of our players has an injury. 

    But if Kane feels like he needs a rest, to get fit for the final, after that bump on the sidelines I wouldn't mind at all.
