Thats revenge for Koeman in 93!
I know that was said in jest, but in reality its karma for Lampard's "goal" against the Germans in 2010. That incident was the catalyst for VAR being introduced.

14 years later & we get retribution.
I think it was the catalist for goal line tech (which arguably might have chalked off a goal for us today that might not have without it)

don't think anyone would suggest that goal line tech is disputed in any way.

Looks like Shaw for Trippier which makes sense.
Hmm not sure if I like it to be honest, feels too early

Then again we're not losing one of our three stoppages to make subs by making it at HT... Worst case scenario we can swap him for Eze with our sixth sub in ET
When we're comfortably ahead we can always bring on Konsa to close the game out.

Hmm Weghorst will be an interesting one, he'll give them an option up front now.

Play like we did in the first half but with Shaw working on the left and we should win this.

Shaw on and he's had three spits before the kick off.

I hope that option is him getting bodied by Guehi.

Doesnt that goal for Kane take him level in the race for the Golden Boot?
Indeed. Not bad for a serial loser - as somebody who posts on here said a week or so ago.

The big lump is on for the Dutch. Much more of a physical battle for our defence now.

Surely that’s goal line technology rather than VAR…

is it just me... or does anyone think Southgate planned on bringing on Shaw at half time regardless of what happened in the first half..?

More leaving his mark early on than a needless foul I think.

Come on... Someone had to be busting a gut to get into the area, with Saka winning that ball

Why don't we just have a striker that plays as a striker.

Literally the worst use or VAR I have ever seen, absolutely ridiculous
A studs up challenge is dangerous play and is a foul and a booking. The 'obvious error' was thinking it was a clean clash of feet rather than a studs up one.
Studs up isn't mentioned in the laws....was it careless or reckless?  Obviously not
Assume you've never played the game? I've only played Sunday league level and even there a studs up challenge is dangerous and falls under the definition of reckless.
I referee.....VaR is re-refereeing the game instead of intervening in clear and obvious errors.  Show me the law that says you can't put your studs up.
Do you know who else referees? The referee tonight, and he gave a penalty. I bet he’s a better ref than you.
I've never been done for match fixing
But you don't say you've never fixed a match.
I haven't, although I sensed the manager of the Ruislip Rangers U14 Reds felt differently last season

Kane has to stop looking for fouls and stay as the furthest forward.

Hasn’t that been the story of the entire tournament?

Dutch just showed wat you can do with just 3 simple forward passes.

All the while we continue to pass sideways & backwards.

What's the point of putting on Shaw when he wont even try to run down the left with it.
