    4 minutes added on time, (which was no where enough) only 1 minute the ball was in play. But dispite that best team won.

    FWIW they isolated our best players because for most of the game we had 10 men. Our top scorer was walking around after 20 mins. 

    This Spanish side though... Bloody fantastic chemistry. They just know where eachother are going to be. We have to pause and check on every attack.

    Truly believed today was finally going to be the day. So tight in the final. Heads held high. Spain better over the tournament, coverage I’m watching suggesting Spain were far better than us today but I don’t agree.

    Surprised the ref blew on exactly 4 minutes, but the best team won.

    England have been stodgy all tournament, I can't see many England players making the team of the tournament, unlike in previous ones.

    The ref was a cheat from the start in the way he handed out yellow cards but there was at least 1.5 minutes for subs and injuries.  "Respect" ?  Never !

    Best team won. Not really anyone who was near to them. Overall, a pretty poor tournament, some dreadful games.

    Commiserations to England, I know it hurts but making it to the final is a great achievement. Spain are an excellent team and the best team
    (both on the night and in the tournament) won.

    Tight first half and then one team came out improved (despite their best player going off), credit to their manager for that.

    Had one decentish game against the Dutch but, Imo, the team still nowhere near fulfilling it's potential considering the ability in the squad. You do get the individual displays of brilliance, but for me there's a general lack of flare over-all.

    Spain much better team, which is frustrating because we have so much quality in the squad. Looked good for 5 minutes then just dropped the energy again after we scored. Never ever think England will win a tournament so the pain is somewhat diminished. Need someone a bit more tactically astute I think as manager, no idea who that is…..Klopp?

    Southgate needed to be braver with the selections and I think tonight showed that up more than ever. Yes I get it Kane is the captain and he was our top scorer, but you cannot tell me we look good with him in the side. Every time we took him off we got better, and we should have said fuck it, bench him and see if he can be the difference maker late on instead of having him stroll about for an hour
